- In this video we install and check the features of the Saber Tactical Adjustable Buttstock for the FX Impact. This one is installed on a MKII Impact, but the installation will be the same for a MKI Impact.
The buttstock installation is simple and straightforward ,using no tools.
The new buttstock provides for an extended and adjustable length of pull, height adjustment, a top wing that adjusts to fit the shooter's needs and a more comfortable and secure shoulder weld in a variety of shooting positions.
The rail is available from many retailers, including

Thank you for explaining this much better than the other comparable videos. What others don’t explain well is the L-shaped piece that goes in the inner part of the butt. You explained and showed where to properly place it; I kept trying the upward position thinking it would lock over the tubular insert. I wasn’t well informed until this video that it overhangs the side of the frame.
Lol, I called the service dept who sent me a video link which didn’t help. Now I feel like an idiot as the solution was pretty simple. Thanks bro 😎
Thank you for your video... this better explained how to install. The problem I had was placement of the small metal piece with the lip. No other video explained that the lip part goes to the side... I was trying to place the lip part upright towards the small insert. Thank god I saw this video!
I'm glad we could help out!

Great vid on How To!!! Awesome product...but i find it just a bit to spicy a price tag!!!
Quality costs. At least the money is going to an owner operated business and not a big corporation.
Hello Paul, its Mister Weight again!
What IS the difference between the Saber and the FX buttstock,
thanks.
I will take the scale down tomorrow and get this info for you.
I got you! Thanks for being patient. The stock buttstock is 4.1oz. The new Saber Tactical unit is 10.5oz.
@@WiscAirGunners thanks Paul , informed we are, you do your viewers a service.
Between them* around 13oz is added to the rifle, for back yard or bench rest no issue, some may notice the extra weight where they to carry throughout a day in the field.
thanks again.
*buttstock and the tac (trigger) unit.
Does the spacer come with the kit or already in the gun stock?
It comes with the kit.
Does the rifle still fit in the case that comes with the rifle?
It will if you modify the foam.
@@WiscAirGunners great thanks 👍🏻
What is the length of pull set at the minimum and maximum?
Thanks for being patient. The stock length of pull is about 13 inches. With the Saber Tactical Adjustable Buttstock fully retracted I measured it at 13.75 inches and fully extended it was about 15.75 inches.
