This lesson will cover several search engines you should be using to improve your security, privacy, and anonymity on the internet. Google, Yahoo, Microsoft Bing, and most other main search engines track every website you visit, but using other services will greatly improve your OPSEC and self efficacy. There is no "Correct" search engine to use, but this video covers a few good options: DuckDuckGo, Startpage, and Searx.me.

I've noticed a lot of people claiming that are not able to update microG, especially the ones who are using Yalp and Aurora store... It says there is a new update available and when you click in the update it says to update microG services, but when you click on microG services in the Yalp/Aurora store it redirects you to Google Play Services page. So, how to manage this? Is this a glitch or the microG services are updated through something else?
Is there any search engine where I can even see removed content also or taboo contents without being tracked

Great channel - thank you! I have been using Swisscows which sound very private based on my research. Servers are in Switzerland. They say they don't store or track data. And it is family friendly as search results exclude sexual/porn and violent content.
Agree. Swiss is extremely private. I did a whole lot of experimentation of results of Swiss cows with many other such a start page, Google and more, to me the results for swisscows and start page were the best two, and I agree I like how it hides porn.

Startpage is located in the EU which in theory has one of the strictest privacy laws in the world. Not using google is a no-brainer bacause it has absolutely no impact on the usability of your browser
And whats your current recommendation for mobile messaging with end to end encryption?

What about Ecosia? They claim to be privacy-oriented. I really want to trust them
For all data we collect ourselves, we take data protection very seriously and take many steps to ensure it is safe and anonymous. For example:
We remove parts of the IP address when we store it so they become anonymous. For example 192.168.152.223 becomes 192.168.XXX.XXX
We do not use unique event fingerprinting
We send all data collected from Ecosia services over an SSL-secured connection
We store all analytics data in an highly encrypted database
We only keep fully anonymised search data after 7 days
From their privacy policy. IMO, this won’t beat search engines mentioned in the video, but it seems to be much better than the major engines like Google.

Is MicroG safe to use on Android to avoid Google and their services?
MicroG may still have a few services depending on the package you choose, but it’s known to be safe yes.
