Part 1 Cutting Oats With a Remote Grain Binder Controls McCormick Deering W 30 and Grain Binder

Cutting oats with a remote grain binder controlled by a McCormick Deering W-30. We cut some oats with the old setup. After many years idle I had to get used to it all over again. I need to work on the remote throttle because at times we had to idle the unit. These were offered as an alternative to on-man riding the tractor and one riding the grain binder. With this setup, one person can accomplish both tasks. These were popular during world war two as there was a shortage of manpower in many cases.
