Maybe I'm biased due to my everday knife I've had since I was a kid, but the Thumb stud is my favorite for folding knives. Always felt like the quickest and simplest method to me. Thumb hole is fine aswell, just doesn't feel as quick since you have to move your thumb inward a bit more. The others feel a little invasive, or more prone to accidental openings.
Even as someone who's nails are longer from time to time, the nail knick is definitely my least favorite, feels the most sluggish. I always just resort to using the opposite hand to pinch the blade and pull it open. It's a shame, because many of the more stylish, "quality" pocket knives (Case for example) use that knick design.
Fixed blade ofc is the most reliable but not really valid in the discussion imo. Not always quite as convenient to carry (or sometimes legal) as a folding pocket knife.
