Camp Man glad to see you back and getting on with things. Great set up. i bet you haveichie feet to get moving again. This epp was just as good as the rest not boring att all.
Thank you mate. Keeps the minds set in good places doing all this. You got that right, specially when fitting new things..keen to try them out. And the fish are calling.
Just discovered you recently and LOVE your videos. Currently working my way backwards through them. Keep up the great work, all the tidbits are helpful and it is appreciated 😊
Another great video Dale.. never boring mate and learning about what you do and how you do it is a joy… I bloody hope all the companies you highlight give you some credit and some coin.. doing what you do with their gear is the best endorsement they will ever get👍👊🏻 that rainbow, you sitting there in peace at the start.. brilliant😎🍻
Thank you Sandy :) I do work with the odd company, and they help me out with some products over the years. But I’m happy to show people what has worked for me over the years as well.. I’m always chopping and changing if I find a better way that works or lighter gear. It was mad ay.. was right in front of me and I still couldn’t find the pot of gold ha.
As lots have said lad, it's good hearing what you do and why you do it the way you have. If anyone finds it boring they can always use the off button 😂. The small Billy boil thermo cooker is something I have thought about and your comments helped push it over the line. 👍 Cheers lad, keep well and stay safe. 😎🍺
Ah good on ya man, I’m hearing ya ha. I was thinking to me self, no one gonna wanna know about a thermo cooker lol… there ya go. Yeah they go alright. More for a stewing, boiling top cooking tho. But set and for get.
It’s great stuff Dale, always see something that grabs the spotlight, that BillyBoil looks like a real good bit of kit, couple of Beef or Lamb Shanks would be real tasty cooking it in one of those! I got myself one of those Camp Braai, likewise mate, I reckon they would be awesome to Cook a Jack or any tasty fish or crustacean in over the fire, haven’t used it yet, but will be soon as that rain disappears up North! Great stuff as always mate! 🙏
Cheers mate. They go alright, I think you could really think outside the box when it comes to cooking in them.. shanks sound good, mum only just said that to me a couple days back about trying some in the BB. The Camp Braai are the bomb for cooking whole fish. We did a couple of Jacks in them, was very nice. Crispy skin and flaky flesh. :)
Bro bout time on the redarc!..mechanically correct, you'll never look back..i mentioned those eco pots a while back!🤣 More importantly, while in suburbia get ya skin check lad.. Off Topic but from experience..❤ Enough said🤙Love ya work Brutha..cheers
Haha, yeah man I’ve had Redarc for as long as I’ve had the Ute. Catch up lol. Yeah I did look into that brand of pot, but they don’t have any on there website unfortunately. But this little Billy has been a pearler. And cheers for looking out for me man. Have a good weekend ay
Your tips are always helpful-Thank you. Can’t wait to see you back out adventuring again and maybe back here to WA again…when you can. Safe travels Brother. Looking forward to next week - no matter where you are ✌️
Nothing boring about your vids Brother. Keeps us in the loop and teaches us along the way. You’re pretty sharp when it comes to electrics hey 👌👌. I’ve learnt a bit off you along the way that’s for sure. Keep em coming Brother
Mate you put a lot thought into your setup. Thank you for sharing. I always pick up a clue or two from you. I am always inspired by your videos no matter what you get up.
Cheers mate, I can sit or stand there for hrs be for making a move… more thinking into the future, if it will still work or interfere with anything thing I do down the track.
Great seeing how you set up and accessories you use, helps me to get it right the first time 😊 Billy Boil slow cooker, what a bloody fantastic idea. I want one, game changer... Still learning and working on easiest way of using solar etc. Being off grid, best feeling. 😊
It’s a great feeling mate ay. And trying out all the new gear is just as fun. The Renogy gear is good, I never had a problem with mine. And I think you might find the 50amp May have a higher volt solar input.
Hi campman Great set up we love watching you never boring, get great ideas love the Billy boil going to get one. Quick question where do you get the bazooka water tank from. Would like to get one , let us know would be great thanks 🙏 keep doing what your doing best 👍
Thanks mate, The Billy boil has been going good. I actually just messaged old mate from Bazooka Water tanks after putting this video up, unfortunately he’s not doing them anymore.. but he still has a few tanks left. You can message him directly on Facebook, @ Bazooka water tanks… facebook.com/BazookaWaterTanks?mibextid=kFxxJD I put a link to his facebook, see if that works.
Thanks Camp man Appreciate that I have ordered the Billy boil they have a sale from 199.00 to 149.00 free shipping if you put free in the code section. Can’t wait to use it. Keep doing what your doing we love your videos 😁👍
G'day Dale & dodge, for me not boring at all, we think a like. Love your set up but I dont think it ends,it evolves . Give Dodge dog a scratch behind the ear. Cant wait for the next adventure.😎
Your set up looks great man, designed for practical use with or without the trailer. Always interesting to see how and why you adjust things to make them efficient. Cheers n thanks for sharing Dale 🍺🤙🏽
Cheers man, Yeah that was a must for my while set up, I had to be able to leave the trailer and take off in my Ute for a camp.. same time not over doing it and doubling up on to many things.
Try less air pressure in the shower tank. Work it out so you get clean but don't use too much water. We used this method to get fuel from a 44 to the vehicle.
Cheers for the tip man, I find I need to have at least a certain psi in the tank to get full shower out of it.. if I can keep same amount of psi but just shut valve a little I should be right. How good it air over pumps when it can be done.. I also use this method for my 20l Jerry cans.
Cheers mate. And the LifePO4 are safe, had them for a good few years not and no drama. I’m sure there are some bad ones getting around, hence the new laws that have just come out.. but quality ones are the way to go.
Really interesting channel. You cover a lot of just fit-for-purpose ideas. Keep it simple and practical. Here’s an idea for you. Instead of having low volume high pressure tanks on board as part of compressor system , why don’t you give some thought to getting rid of the tanks and plumbing up the spare tire and use it as a large volume, lower pressure air reservoir ? Cuts down on weight and utilizes an item that is doing nothing most of the time.
Very inspiring stuff mate i look forward to all of you shows . I hope to be out there soon with my brother doing all the things you do . And have learnt heaps of tips ect please keep up the fantastic content . CHEERS
Cheers for that mate. I’m sure you’s will have a ball.. I come across a couple other brothers that was traveling together and they was having a great time. Probably see ya’s out there.
Yeah mate I did a few corn meats on me larger thermo I had… it was like ferry-floss ay. Just melts in ya mouth. I think I’ll be pushing it with the little pot…I might fit a small one in it.
Yeah they are a popular little thing these days ay… definitely work for some. Over the years I’ve found it better to have as much things mounted and not a loose object. Just works better for my self.
Sorry can't find how to send pictures of what I meant .. it looks just like a hand gun replaces the shower head you have very fine spray SENT A PICTURE BY EMAIL
Yeah it more comes down to weight and size for the Ute set up.. I’ll get away with a 200ah as I’ll juggle the cooking around from induction, fire, thermo cooker and so on. So I’ll stick with a smaller 200ah or so for the Ute.. But the 5kw is something I’ve been looking into for the camper trailer down the track.
Ay mate, cheers for that.. always keen to look into new gear. Specially from Victron, they haven’t had new gear out for sometime now. Probably easier to email me if you wanna chat. thecampman@my.com
Definitely not boring, it’s interesting to see how you have things set up especially your shower. Thanks.
Do it yourself absolutely the best way, no mystery in knowing your own work , same with boats..
I’m hearing ya. And you know how it was really done when doing ya self.
Thanks mate like the billy boil pot 👍🏻

That Billy boil would be great to put on before you start driving then when you pull up at the end of the day you’d have a cooked meal.
I’m yet to use it while on the move, just to make sure it seals good enough to not wanna leak.. but if it don’t leak, ya spot on guys.
Pumped is right. Getting my Ute sorted out for off grid next week and I’m like a kid at Xmas. Can’t wait. I’ve been using renogy 50amp in the caravan.

good job mate like all your vids never boring good down to earth true blue Aussie , remind me a bit of malcom douglas

Good one. Be careful with those lithium batteries. They cause fires 😊
LiFePO4 batteries really don't catch fire unless you do something drastic to them. The design, BMS, and chemistry make them very safe.

Why not go for a solar house battery, won't need anything else.Maybe they are 5kw,don't know price or weight.
