I have a question When you turn node gravity on and make a steam geyser like spike viper did, does the planet than travel because of the force like a rocket?
Yes, it acts sort of like a rocket. But most volcanicly active planets (being massive enough to have molten cores) don't feel the effects of their internal mass ejections.
Oh man I would love to buy this game because I love watching these videos and it's so cool but I currently don't have any money as a teenager. Also as a programmer I'm amazed by the efficiency of this simulation.
I think the inverted planet would work better if you had inverted gravity instead of gravity pulling to the center. I believe that the gravity nodes can be put into a negative value, and the rock( or encase the ring in metal) should be able to withstand the push away from the center since it survived the pull.
One idea for a video: If you have multiple points of gravity, can you make a planet that is a shape like a square or a triangle? You can see if tectonic plates, volcanoes are able to be done on a planet like that or just having it be stable. I’d love to see that
Spike! Loving the content so far. May I make a small suggestion? I think it'd be a little more interesting if you were more hesitant with the delete tool, there are so many scenarios in this game where super interesting things will just happen of their own volition when given the resources, I'd love to see how many of your 'failed' experiments would have continued to exist when left relatively alone. I can understand if there are performance and quality concerns on the video making end that may result from that suggestion, but I think it would be absolutely enthralling if sometimes you'd just let a little project float off for a while and to see what it would turn out like over time. Thanks for your time!
Idea: Try using inverted gravity objects to form a planet or planet ring. Another idea: You haven't shown anything using the magnet yet which has a lot of destructive potential while they are moving metal around.
Orbits are so slow, spike doesn’t have the patience to wait for the orbit. The close fast orbits he tried just ripped everything appart due to tidal forces and he just got rings.
*@Spike Viper* 7:23 This, but make each ring rotate in opposite directions (if possible?) And then see what happens when they grind against each other :D 13:08 Inject some water into a metal lattice, then heat it up so the water boils... what happens? :D
More volcanoes! Making a really thick planet then heating pressurizing the inside till natural volcanoes form, and popping planets by letting them cool down
5:43 you thought you can make your own volcano h a h a h a h a h a h a h a h a h a h a h a h a h a a a a a a a a h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h h
@2:55 why not make the planet rotate? Makes it easier. Most of your SST videos, you should try rotating planets. Makes things like making a moon easier.
I would like to see if my computer can run this game. Sadly the demo version is broken and does not open. I would like to see the devs pay some attention to this as many people have complained, instead of only focusing on the full version.
Faz um bloco bem Redondo bem grande com material mais forte que tem nesse jogo E aí faz bastante pressão com água quente dentro daquele círculo gigante de madeira mais forte do jogo ok essa é uma ideia bem boa
I have a question
When you turn node gravity on and make a steam geyser like spike viper did, does the planet than travel because of the force like a rocket?
Yes. But very little due to initial of some hundred water atoms s, vs 20 thousand rock atoms. So yes, but it doesn't do to much.

Imagine a giant rocket pushing a planet
Awesome! New video! I returned from a trip dedicated to the development of SST and now I will finally be closely involved in releases

Fourth reply??? Doesn’t matter, being first or second doesn’t matter. It’s not a flex IMO.

I'm glad at least one person sees the flaws in his digital actions
5:30 it became a mushroom cloud 💥💥💥
Now I'm not one to have my mind so deep in the gutter but...
That thumbnail got me sweatin
It's not an inverted planet, it's a buried forest deciduously insulated.
AAA YOU STOLE WHAT I WAS PLANNING TO SAY AGES BEFORE I FOUND THIS SPECIFIC VIDEO 😭
Anyways, wise words from Gelatin 🧐
I don’t think he knows BFDI
Dang it, I was gonna say that

This game/sim is AWESOME. Not sure how I missed this for so long. Please keep making videos of this.
“Buried forest, deciduously insulated”

5:30
That looks like something not child-friendly. If you know, you know.
lmao I thought the same thing.
Urethral?

You should make a mini solar system if you can or make a moon orbit a spinning planet
Orbits are so slow, spike doesn’t have the patience to wait for the orbit.

ring world you can put gravity in - if you go below 0

WOOOOO NEW VIDEO!1!1 And; bonus, uploaded while I was on the toilet!
And, video suggestion, dark matter in a universe? If you can do that.
More volcanoes! Making a really thick planet then heating pressurizing the inside till natural volcanoes form, and popping planets by letting them cool down
5:32 reminds me of the hollow earth breath scene in Godzilla vs Kong
can you put an object inside a object and [[pause time]] [[it will explode]] [tip use lava]
I believe the correct term is Buried Forest, Deciduously Insulated.
Make it spin
“Oh. My. Gosh. It’s an inverted planet!”- Gelatin, probably
Wishing this game had more elements and aspects like powder toy does, Definitly a good lookong start to a sandbox physics game tho
Hollow earth. Also, can you make an ice planet like Europa/Enceladus?
Ayo he did a bfdi
You can manually un-pin stuff by clicking once with the move tool
that is ah. One very interesting thumbnail you got there buddy
I have a video idea what if you take a very over pressed rock/planet and throw planet?
Friction heating would be a very cool effect in this game.
I think it has friction heating.
14:18 this is literally a popcorn
Spike i think a game you would like is sand boxels because you can combine a bunch of things
That's too similiar to The Powder Tot
I love these videos of space simulation toolkit
spike: snap
me: are you okay
Me when I hear the intro when in the club someone's talking:
Hello guys! Welcome back to Space Invasion Toolkit💀💀💀💀
Coldplay; beautiful world
Amazing! I wonder if you would go back and play some more with life and evolution in SST
6:21 looks like tomato soup
10:14 me in the bathroom at 11pm
reminds me of that one interstellar ring
6:18 - it looks like a demon spider head
you should make a planet that instead of having a lava core, have it be replaced with water
30:59 BOOM
That moment when you want to make a joke about Australia, but you run out of joke ideas

Please make a Europa type planet next
just make gravity a negative value so it can push outward for reverse planet
oh and i gave a shoutout to spike viper
You turned a planet inside out
its the halo rings woahh :D
YES SST RELEASE❤
Can you make A SUPER BIG BANG made form metal amd stone btw when using no clip just wait for like 1min and then BIG BANG IT

imagine that stars are just inverted planets and we only can see the lava from the outside
While this is a fun idea, there is no lava present on the surface of stars, just superheated plasma.
o yeah forgot about the plasma@@Blackhole-TON618
Speaking of. I don’t think we’ve ever went to a star. How do we know this. I’m trusting the word of nasa but Im curious.
