Hey man, love your videos! Your work on the ronin 4D videos made me buy the camera. Everything has worked great so far, it’s just been the auto focus for manual lenses that keeps bugging me, the focus keeps getting stuck on noses and glasses on people, have you ever run into this issue?
Great Vid! Can you Say anything about the comparison between the 6k and the 8k Version? Apart from the Resolution did you notice any differences in Image quality?
I love the flowing movement that I can usually just get with a a slider. Wondering how you use CP and ND with this combo? Are you able to use external CP when you use internal ND, or do you get colour issues?
Very cool, lovely shots! The 4D and Athena primes is a specific combo I'm working towards myself (so far I have the 85, 50 and 25mm). I'm curious for clarification when you talk about being able to swap the lenses on the 4D and everything is good to go... Are you still having to recalibrate the focus motor with each lens swap, or can you truly just take one lens off, put another on, get the focus motor back on the lens, and you're ready to shoot? I'm decently familiar with the 4D, but I thought you'd have to go ahead and recalibrate for a new lens each time you swap one out. What's your experience with this been like? Thanks so much!
Hey man! Thanks so much. You can save lens calibrations on the 4D so it’s all set once you’ve done an initial pass with each lens and saved to the system.
Any way i can get in contact with you about the calibration of these lenses on the ronin 4d. Im extremely confused how this works, could you help me out?
The NiSi's are 800 grams, which is way heavier than the 550 gram weight limit of the 4D gimbal, do you find the motors are being over worked and are you seeing more jitter in the shots because of it?
So far it’s been working super well! I have had the occasional shake mostly due to wind and the extra weight. But I’m normal conditions I am loving this setup!
I can't get over how absolutely stunning your photography is.
Daannngggg what an amazing turn of events during your shoot. Very neat!!!
NiSi makes INCREDIBLE ND filters for cinema and photo. Excited to get my hands on the lenses. Can only imagine the attention to detail over these

@@BenjaminHardmando you use the counterweights from Dji?
What codecs were shot on on the 8k?
These shots are ProRes RAW converted to Cinema DNG.
@BenjaminHardman what do you use to convert if you don't mind me asking?
