I really appreciate that, and I completely agree! I think there's always going to be a subgroup of camera nerds who like "working for their meal" and digging through complicated settings with years of effort to take one mediocre picture... But I think the time is coming, and frankly long overdue, for a camera that takes the best sensor of a mirrorless camera, with GoPro stabilization, and ease of use with Google's photo software, into a single device. Then, anybody can be a photographer/videographer with no tutorials needed.
I spent most of my early photo life only using a smartphone to emphasize that cameras are unnecessarily overcomplicated. Yet, the limitations are currently with video, but the zve1 is the closest we have at the moment to that device, so you may be right, in 5 years, we may get that kind of camera where you just press record and that's it!

Doesn’t matter how much the camera automatically sets your settings and focus, 90% of what makes up a great image comes from things outside of the camera like composition, lighting and the talent in front of the screen, posing the models and of course the ideas behind the photo or video.
These are things no camera or computer can automate and it’s what makes someone a photographer or videographer. Not the camera and how easy it is to use.

THAT IS WHY SONY ZV-E10 IS SO POPULAR? COZ IS EASY TO USE?
Its got a really good sensor. Basically the one on fx3 and a7s3. But way cheaper.
Shoots videos in low light with very little noise and you can shoot nice slow motion in 4k 120fps
