For weeks (months?) I've been trying to get my solo Extreme 3D Pro keybindings setup too work. You have the "Yaw" function linked to the twist like I want but the "Strafe" functions I want on the hat. Somehow the twist somehow stated working but the 2.6.1 update ruined that. Can you provide the complete keybindings for your X3D, hopefully they'll help me? :-) Thank-you for the time.
Can you make a video on how to map it or a way to make things simpler for players like me that don't know what to do, as far as i know there are no videos on TH-cam showing how to set up a Logitech (or any joystick) to star citizen. much appreciate.
Nice video . I use the same joystick but cannot program those buttons to work with Need For Speed Hot Pursuit and Star Battlefield . I can only find profile for those games record it and that's it no ingame respond . Error pops up " The game controller has not been set up please go to control in game settings " . Any ideas..
Anyone trying to use this joystick on latest version? It wont let me change key bindings for the joystick and won’t recognize it. But let’s me use it for most flying needs just not throttle
i wish i got this one a few years back i made the mistake of buying the Logitech attack 3, while it is a good joystick it has no yaw controls which for games like this is a must.
the yaw and roll are messed up! when i twist the stick i roll when bank the stick i yaw can anyone tell me how to switch them to the way you were flying
Is there a reason why every single video I see on Logictech gameplay only shows them dog fighting in space? I wanna see how this joystick works walking and running around and shooting, first person shooter like. Star citizen also has that you know? NOBODY shows it. Is this joystick good for that as well?
I use this joystick and i find that the throttle axis is less responsive than it should be on some games. Another thing I noticed is that the throttle slowly works its way loose. Nice video
In my opinion, binding the yaw axis in the game to the roll axis on the controller can give much greater accuracy and control. You should also bind the games roll to the joysticks yaw axis. I have this configuration for Freespace 2 and it works very well, for me at least. Great videos BTW.
Currently using the same Joystick, but my Yaw control is where the roll oughta be, and vice versa. Makes for a very confusing control set up. Any way to edit this?
I still find, when I compare it to keyboard, the roll is like half speed. Do you also find this? One ptu patch (maybe more ) it was the same, making me think its SC problem not the stick. I'm using dual stick setup.
The X3D is my favorite stick ever. Why anyone would spend more on a stick is beyond me. It could have a better throttle slider but I like just using my thumb for throttle.
It looks like I have the same comment as most of the others. I also have a Extreme 3D Pro but unlike you (lucky) I barely have control (being nice) so I'm trying to find vids that show how to set up the stick. I'm planning in the future to set up "Voice Attack" to reduce work load and maybe set up a duel stick combination? Do you have a video on what your keybindings are set? Thank-you for the time.
AaronSayWhat I disagree, after looking tons of reviews, people seem to agree that the t16000m is by far the best one so that's the one I chose. It still looks like a great product for the price though!
How much deadzone does the Joystick have? I see there's a lot but I believe it's your game configuration, am I right? Thank you for the video, it's great!!!
It's quite sensitive, and definitely takes a bit to get used to it. As far as flying goes, I am personally better with the joystick, just easier to move around once you use it for a bit. I read that a lot of people take a bit of time to get use to the sensitivity and even the physics programmer couldn't play the game when it was released because it was too sensitive but I find it's gotten a bit better.
Am having so much trouble configuring that joystick, please help.
Wow. I just loved hearing you say "we're currently at 107 subs" then going out of fullscreen to see what your subs were.
Congratulations man.
I hope you're still responding to "every comment"! ;D hahaha jk
Please update this video to reflect the new update.
Great video. I was looking for a good review video on this joystick and you are the only one I could find. Thanks!
Wow dude. Your channel pretty much exploded since this time. 100 subscribers atm? just checked and 33 922 subs. Nice job!
Yeah, it came a long way! :)
3 months later at 50k wanna partner up
How do you set up the joystick?
87K ;) :D
131k
Can you make a video on how to connect this joystick along with the profile stuff.did you use the separate logictech program???
Can I use this joystick on battlefront two as a storm trooper is walking and shooting his weapon?
hey i need help trying to set up like yours but for me the twist is rolling and the x and y are just turning

I have one extreme 3d pro but IDK how to set up in SC? pls help me
Come a long way from 90 subs dude lol just became a citizen myself and got this very joystick
Nice video . I use the same joystick but cannot program those buttons to work with Need For Speed Hot Pursuit and Star Battlefield . I can only find profile for those games record it and that's it no ingame respond . Error pops up " The game controller has not been set up please go to control in game settings " . Any ideas..
Aaron...can you post what settings you used?
hey cool video but for some reason my ship can't turn and it's not in the control binding for the same joystick
Hm so did they change/drop support for that stick? Cause I got it and am playing and all the keybinds are very different
Anyone trying to use this joystick on latest version? It wont let me change key bindings for the joystick and won’t recognize it. But let’s me use it for most flying needs just not throttle

brandonhughes7 Yeah this one is good!

This is really late, but you can adjust all the settings through their software.

is anyone kind enough to tell me how to strafe left and right with this joystick? i can see him turning but never strafing
old news but you could use track ir for the gimbals
Thanks this was the info i needed. Great vid
Nigel Phelps Thanks, and glad I could help!
Can you do this again from scratch on 3.6 patch
whoaa 8 years ago star citizen gpaphis etc came a long way. nice
I use this joystick and i find that the throttle axis is less responsive than it should be on some games. Another thing I noticed is that the throttle slowly works its way loose.
Nice video
but its thirty bucks so fuck it
the hangar has doors on the side so technically you can hold more than 3 small ships I believe.
That's what I thought as well.

Plasmawiz Thanks for the tip and support!
I have the same stick but have problem programing it to star citizen, any ideas ?
enlighten No idea, it worked for me plug and play
love the videos man

+Winters343 No idea, sorry!
+Winters343 You need to change it in the game settings.
+Winters343 It may also be that they are switched up in the Logitech profiler, but probably in-game.

+Nigel Blackwell i have my twist set to roll btw.

Recently I've seen mentioned of the Star Citizen Default Keybindings. Is there something I need to do so my stick can utilize them
What is your Joystick stick profile for Star Citizen? I need a profile to import to the game
SavageTech yes please include like to profile
tactical dot deployed [.]
im useing the same joystick, and my fire controls are not working everything else works but nothing else
anyone help me :P
thanks for the vid. ill be getting that joystick.
What are you using for strafing up/down and left/right? Keyboard on the left hand?
can you show your joystick configuration
Love the stick. Defenetly gonna get one.
I got a question... Is there any way I can play Star Citizen right now?? Thanx.
TrueGamingPassion Umm I'm not sure, I got the game as part of a deal with Sapphire AMD graphics card. Sorry I'm not much help haha
TrueGamingPassion if you go to the star citizen website and buy one of the starter ships ($45) then you get the game and the ship you bought.
TrueGamingPassion make sure you buy the starter package that includes beta access.
ok, thank you
TrueGamingPassion A little late, but if you haven't already gotten SC make sure it is a "package" and not a ship.
I have a question then did your joystick not let you throttle down to 0 after increasing your speed? It seemed to stay at 110 when flying straight.
AaronSayWhat , is there a config file for this now or is it just as easy to plug and play? Are you still using the joystick?
It's a pretty cheap joystick and looks interresting, but I wonder if it has a a huge deadzone, because it looked pretty big in the video...
For $30-$40 it's easily one of the best, if not the best joystick in that price range.
AaronSayWhat I disagree, after looking tons of reviews, people seem to agree that the t16000m is by far the best one so that's the one I chose. It still looks like a great product for the price though!
hey was wondering if you were interested in a collaboration of some sort.
Is the delay between the joystick movement and the ship movement just video timing, or is the delay that long?
ToMisbehaveiAim It was probably just the video, I don't remember exactly as this video was a while ago.
Oh okay. Thanks. I know that it's really a matter of the computer, but you'd call the stick itself fairly responsive?
Oh, and great video.

Oh, and great video.
ToMisbehaveiAim Yeah I like it, at first it was quite sensitive but I got used to it or you could change the sensitivity. Hope this helps!
AaronSayWhat Indeed. Thanks! Definitely gonna go buy this now, so I can play this game I backed on Kickstarter once it comes out. Can't wait.
How much deadzone does the Joystick have? I see there's a lot but I believe it's your game configuration, am I right?
Thank you for the video, it's great!!!
nice video thanks for the review i am subscribing
Thanks!
How did you bind the joystick mate ?
It was actually plug n play. This joystick was instantly recognized by Star Citizen and mapped all the controls by itself.
Cheers bud , it happened when I plugged it in and driver's installed , just can't yaw like when I rotate the stick but I'll work it out :-)
No problem! and mine all worked no issues, so I'm sure you will get it figured out :)
what ever happened to joysticks designed for shooter games?
I would use the 3d Pro in conjunction with the mouse...
How much was the joystick
DeltaBox Mason $39 CAD
how are you finding the yaw sensitivity ?
It's quite sensitive, and definitely takes a bit to get used to it. As far as flying goes, I am personally better with the joystick, just easier to move around once you use it for a bit. I have the same probs but at 6 frames per second, it makes for quite an interesting flight.
Yea I can see how that would affect it for sure lol
So bra its laggy for me I think because of my outdated AMD Radeon 65000 graphics card
Yea that would do it, my HD7570 was a little laggy
then i got the cataylst still laggy AMD CATALST yea
Mr.ComplexerGAMING Yea, you will most likely want to upgrade your graphics card to play this without lag.
You said you will comment so hi!
YAW IT'S CALLED YAW
"This button up here"
check out track IR son!
Yea I heard a lot about it and I do plan on trying it hopefully soon!
