just a tip....everytime the door handle button did not work for you it was because your fingers were actually inside the grab handle.....remember there is a sensor there for unlocking the doors. So if your fingers are over the sensor then the lock button won't work. GReat review as always!
Kent Gabriel I was literally about to write the exact same thing! I had a 2016 Jeep Renegade and it was the same thing.. u cant lock it with ur hand in the grab handle.

I like the normal version more without the off road package. You got a wonderful yellow color which is really nice. The 170hp multiair engine is really nice. Got some good performance. I think this car sheers up the street scene which alone already justifies his reason for existence
It has blank buttons on the key. That doesn't paint a pretty picture... As for the keyless entry's close function, it's confused, because you are pressing the close button while your hand is covering the opening sensor located at the inside of the door handle.
Dominic Peter I figured it out after never ever using keyless entry in any car. Mine doesn't have it. But I've seen others just put their hands there, so I imagined the sensor would be there.
Great review Thomas, glad you picked up on the loose exterior trim and then commented on the build quality. I have owned a city look 1.6 diesel for 14 months & it has been an extremely disappointing experience. I have mine in red with the optional chrome pack and red/black seating and trim & personally still love the look of it. The city look improves the interior as the continuation of the body colour on the dash, rather than the mat grey in off road look, means you are not staring at a sea of black and dark grey plastic. However I have had at least 14 courtesy cars due to constant electrical and software issues that have failed multiple times (TPMS, stop/start, heated seats & connectivity with iPhone) & also poor build quality (paint run inside door, speakers not fitted correctly and constant rattles from the nearside front door and dash). Sadly stuck with it on a contract for nearly two more years
Isn't there a button or a function in MMI system to reset tyre pressure monitoring system? There definitely is one in Seat Leon and I would say that there has to be such button in every car, so that you can calibrate it for correct pressure when you switch or pressurize the tyres. Great review as always!
Hi Bruder! I couldn't reach to tell that this car is beautiful since I saw it on the internet, in any 2D photo! But when I saw it lately in front of me in real, I could appreciate more its design lines and its general 3D shape! Sure its designer has a strong concept here, beside succeeding in making it appear the 500 big sister! Also I see the interior is deeply missing the Italian elegance we got used to, in all Italian cars in general, and in the little 500 in particular! Thank you for this interesting review, the sunset timing was perfect heeere! I also remember the Beetle Dune stolen plate! :))
I'm getting one! I llovd my seidici but traded it for a mini diesel which is a good car but lacks practicality fir me. I don't think it's ugly I think it's smart. Enjoyed the review
I had one of these as a rental for a month. The shape of the boot/trunk is a major compromise for the attractive design. I could only fit one large size suitcase (plus one small case) in the back. I had the 1.4 version and it's pretty gutless for every day driving, it's also turbo laggy and only pulls well in sports mode. On the plus side, it looks good and has excellent passenger space.
Great review even though you had to endure the not so male vehicle! I heard soon the A5 sportback will be covered - I would greatly appreciate the 3 series GT LCI in that context as a comparisment. Greetings from Sweden. :-)

I don't think 1m86 would be considered 'tall' in Germany, more above average. Perhaps southern Germany, where the average height is less, 186cm would be considered 'tallish'. I'm 185 and wouldn't call myself tall whatsoever.

05:00 if you touch the rear while you hit the close button, it won't ever close...the rear is a touch sensor for unlocking doors...
