I’m not sure if Gerber offered different blades when this video was made, but you can now totally get this knife with a serrated tanto, non-serrated tanto, a drop point, or a serrated drop point blade. They start around $65
Yep I always keep my little tiny screwdriver that has a small hex key, it's perfectly give it a quarter turn stays perfect for quite a bit but I also add a drop of all the oil in the hinge but not anymore since someone gotten for my blade just yesterday, so I ended up getting a Smith & Wesson still not the same
i got this knife only the walmart edition with the small serration since im a cheap ass lol but it was marked down got it for 21$ but yea i cant bring myself to spend over 80$ for any knife cause then i wont ever use the damn thing haha
So I'll ask the same question to you that I asked if another reviewer that did the same knife review with the same modification 5 years ago..... Why are you doing a review of the modified version of the knife modified as you will but if you're going to review a knife you would review it as it would be purchased not as you would like to have it.
You bring up a good point! I would like to preface that based on the title, this is an overview and impressions video and not an in depth review. And in discussing the knife I share my experience and rationale behind why I modified the knife. Other than the modification (taking off serrations) the knife has all of the other same stock components. This is just one video of many talking about this knife, and just my personal experience and preference among the sea of other videos. Hope that clarifies my intent for the video ,Thanks for watching !
this knife is horrible i have both colors. the hardware is trash the, locking mechanism is horrible and loud, the steel is crap for the price point,. it looks really cool like the auto.
@@caliginousmoira8565auto isn’t great either in my opinion. I’ve owned all the Gerber automatic knives and they all eventually become weak and loose. The 06 is the best about it because the components are the biggest in size but all my Gerber autos get loose over times
Yes. More. Options

@@RockyMountainEDC okay that's fair and thank you for the much more informative and intuitive response than the rude one I got from the last guy
