after listening to this this year is my first time crying and remembering my best time with my mom and dad and i'm happy that they're sleeping peacefully
The original version of Lover's oath feels like the first time your lover left you in a very tragic way. Your older version feels like the loneliness of losing someone is wrapping your whole mind, heart and soul but this version feels like your once broken heart has healed and accepted the fact that she's/he's already been a part of the million stars in the sky...watching over you.
After hearing this and knowing how sad Ruu and the thunderbirds story is…I can’t blame the thunderbird for destroying Tsurumi island…and gif does it hurt to know that Zhongli still hurts for Guizhong…I want to think that Lover’s oath would play when Zhongli finally opens the memory of dust weapon
While listening to that orchestral, I would imagine Ayaka Kamisato and Nilou humming and performing their dances with the orchestral song (Guizhing's Lullaby x Ruu's song) and their audience is Aether and Paimon. While Ayaka and Nilou are performing, the ghosts of Guizhong, Ruu and the Kapatcir are humming along too. And Ayaka (while performing), she forms beautiful snowflakes on the ground and some scattering in the air. And Nilou (while performing), just like Nabu Malikata (the deceased Goddess of Flowers), beautiful flowers grow in the ground near Nilou and Ayaka. While that is happening, Aether, Paimon and the ghostly apparitions of Guizhong, Ruu and Kapatcir gazed in awe and were delighted to see them performing.
I never have been affected to Zhongli's lost love until now. I now understand why Zhongli lost all interest and slowly have apathy. On the other hand, Ruu.. I just wish I can always visit him or take him along my travels, In Mondstadt festivals, Liyues Latern Celebration, Inazuma City and now at Sumeru and introduce him to the Aranara's and Nahida. Well that's just my umagination. overall, this is beautifully made.

gorgeous rendition and wonderful orchestration! the transitions between both the songs were awesome as well, and that key change near the end! chills. as soon as the first few notes of ruu's melody started playing i teared up. great job man!

I just found this but it's so good. It's like lover's oath (guizhong's lullaby) is the end of the day, you'll always remember who they are. It reminds me of beutiful sunsets when time flows slower. It kinda reflects in the much more drawn out and big sound of the strings. However it is contrasted (kinda of) by Ruu's melody, where the strings play a more supportive role (still not like tuba) and lets the solo voice and the kalimba/glock sound take hold. The short and lonely sound drives this slightly darker soundscape. It reminds me more of a dawn where it's so dark, something that recently passed, but there is the small glimmer of hope so far away. This is just my view of this amazing arrangement, if anyone likes to put theirs down below, feel free. I want to hear mroe interpretations of this. Anyways you are goated for making this and blending both together so well. If you've read this far, thank yous!

How surprised I was when I just found out that all this time Zhongli had his favorite woman who wore a beautiful dress and a very beautiful and elegant face who left Zhongli for many years but what touched me was, at the last moment Zhongli saw the face of a woman who he loves for the last time and a photo" Or pictures and fanart on Google I just found out that the ring that Zhongli is wearing looks like Guizhong's ring, it really makes me depressed and so sad for 4 days, I can't imagine how sad and very heartbroken Zhongli was when he lived. His current lover who looks like Guizhong is Ningguang. Like if you feel and think same like me :'k

Zhongli was first story I really love in genshin impact because the story full of memories and Osmanthus Wine :v and second I like Hu Tao and Raiden Shogun idk why :-;
