Amy, it was you that got me to start looking at lists of ingredients in food. I found I will check them more often. I think the worst thing I found was that tofu and shredded cheese was what scared me the most. In the ingredients, it was cellulite or cellulose something, I can’t remember as I’m sitting here, but it’s wood pulp that they add to make it not stick together. I will shred all my cheese now. I realize what you get in the dumpster is a blessing and you’re so lucky. If I wasn’t handicapped at 65 years old I’d be in there too. I grew up in the ‘70s also and hate what’s happening to our earth. I still consider it one of the best decades. My husband and I had weight loss surgery and we eat very little so I guess we’re lucky right now. I also grew up on iceberg lettuce but thanks to you I’m now a romaine lover. Salads have made their way back into our menu and I use things like you put into your salads now too. I can’t wait to see you two every day because I learned how to water bath jams and/or jellies from you. I was so afraid but you got me through it. I hope you realize this is the biggest compliment I could give you. I wish people had pen pals again because I’m also a loud and questioning woman who has been told to not do that. It didn’t work. Lol. I’d love to visit with you but that’s old school now. Please stay safe and keep on doing what you do. You two are the best on any channel there is. Thank you again and I hope I didn’t bore you. That funny thing is that some boho-style rich woman very clearly could pay a lot of money for a flower arrangement like the one you ended up with. Perhaps not placed in a bucket but in a clear big vase. It looked great just like that, a huge bunch of flowers in colors that go together.

Cool, I like all of it. Use the boots as plant pots, drill holes in the bottom, add some rocks or gravel, for weight and drainage. Add some soil. Plant plants or spring bulbs. Job sorted..👢👢👢👢👢

You maybe able to grow the roses from cuttings,when I get them I cut of the flower and grow myself a rose from the steam
Frugal Mommy: You are never going to believe what our grocery store is doing. First they put our pies up to $7.99, then 9.99 then they cut them in half and are selling half pies for $7.59 and not even the 10 inch pies just the 8 inch. So it ends up costing over $15 for a 8 inch pie. Ridiculous!
Krogers does this all the time n they actually put it in the reduced bakery corner! Ridiculous!
Would it not be more cost effective to make your own, & freeze them?

When i lived in a place where it snowed. I wore wellies that were more for snow a size bigger then i needed so i could wear some thick socks or a couple pairs. My feet were always cold

Mommy have you tried freezer jam yum so good and easy makes wonderful short cake with biscuits
If cut tofu up small and thin then well marinade it and well cook it, it can taste great. Cook it on the grill and toss it in your salads.
Even if you find only one shoe of a pair remember you can donate to our amputees

You are able to water bath can oranges. Just not the peel. Zest and freeze or dehydrate the peel. Keep for prepped pantry
Local grocery offering buy 5lbs. @ much lower prices. That is a really good meat and produce offering. For instance $.98/lb. For at least a 5lb. Purchase, no limit for Fuji and Granny Smith apples. 😊

I love fried tofu ! Its so good in fried rice with vegetables Asian style. Great going you two. The flowers are so pretty. I always snarf those black pots. If you put a hole or two in the bottom, then a layer of rocks you have a great pot for plants! Otherwise, use one for a little bathroom trash can or a cleaning bucket.☺
