    How does "File content" have to be structured in order to work? I've tried to pull the content from a OneDrive document into a SharePoint, but its ending up corrupt. Do you know how I set the content type within the file content, etc?

    Does this work if this file would be overwriting a file of the same name in the share point?

    I have an email with an Excel file. Power Automate grabed the email attachment by subject line, then forward to SharePoint.
    However, when i go to SharePoint, it showing a file, but not an Excel file. When I click on it, it showing a 1KB file when it should be 8000 KB.

      Just thinking, I would double check to make sure you have the correct Dynamic Content in the Flow.

      @@michaelalex2322 Something definitely changed in Power Automate where this method in your tutorial does not work. The file it produces in SharePoint will now not have a format and can not be opened.

    OMFG I feel like I’m missing something so simple. I have like 30 pdf attachments each named SCAN. Why can’t I just open each pdf attachment and SAVE AS to the appropriate freakin SharePoint folder??? Each attachment has to be saved in a different SharePoint sub folder. I’ve got to look at the document before saving it to determine where it will go and what I will name it. 🤦‍♀️

    Hi Michael thanks for the tutorial, it works perfect for me, just one question, how can I update the flow in order to replace an existing file in the SharePoint instead of creating a new one? Hope you can share any advice

      @doreenadriaanse1675 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      On the "Create File" action, go to the settings tab, you will see a radio button called "allow chunking" (under the "Networking" section), you can turn that off and this will allow you to replace existing files. I am not sure what chunking does lol, but it works for me.

    Thanks for the video! Can you demonstrate how to move Microsoft Lists file attachments to a specific SharePoint folder according to the characters contained in the file name? For example, a Microsoft Lists attachment has a file name that contains the word "blue" and another that contains the word "green." The SharePoint library has a folder titled "Blue" and a folder titled "Green." How would you use Power Automate to extract the Microsoft List attachments and place them in the corresponding SharePoint folders? Thanks!

    Thank you! These instructions were very easy to understand.
    I'd been trying to do this for a while and kept getting an error. I think the issue I was having was that I created a step before the "create file" step where I was trying to download the attachment before creating the file. If I'm understanding correctly it seems that trying to do that step was unnecessary?

    Hey man amazing video, bit of a tricky one. Would it be possible to somehow make a system that allows you to move the attachment to a specific folder within the library depending on one condition? For example, if email has been sent in January the attachment would go to the January folder, but if it is sent in March it will go to the march folder

    This was very easy to follow and create. Thank you for making this. I do have one question, please. Is Power Automate able to create new folders from email subject lines? An example of that is I can create a folder in SharePoint and each day I receive an email with the subject line as: Monday status report, Tuesday status report, Wednesday status report, etc. Is Power Automate able create new folders each time with the subject line and then save the document into that folder?

    This works great but is there a way the whole email can be added to share point folder as a new subfolder. That way every email that is received is a subfolder in the share drive folder.

    • @michaelalex2322

      I'm not seeing a 'Create Folder' action in OneDrive, but there is one for SharePoint in Power Automate. You could add that to your Flow, but the Folder Name would most likely need to be unique for each one created.
