Your cars are all beautifully presented and videos are fantastic....the little stop/starts with the editing, music and content make them easy to watch. Thanks Ryan!!
Love you're doing open chassis brands this year Ryan. Great to hear feedback on different brands. Another great video, super insightful on the different tech. Thank you and please keep them coming!
I went from the Tekno NB48 to the RC8B4.1. I could not for the life of me drive the Tekno as well as many others did on the track. After some setup help with the RC8B4.1, she was on rails. I'm running the REDS 721 engine with the 34mm Tetra V3 4-shoe clutch and REDS X-One pipe. I'm in love with this TA buggy. I just need more time with it. You have the best RC content on TH-cam. It is so sweet to see you running the RC8B4.1. Maybe you can send me your driving skills on an SD card that can load into my radio? lol
i don't have any desire or even ability (at least in WA) to run a nitro car but i wouldn't miss a Ryan Harris upload! loved the commentary and track footage. my wife was laughing at how crazy these cars sound on track
We have found alot of stability in the UK by sweeping the top arms out on the shock tower. Rear pills are always middle and in and the front pills on the tower are down and out for more steering and active caster, if you run them UP and OUT you will have slightly less steering but the castor will stay the same through the compression and rebound stroke, this also adds more rear end stability. Not sure if youve tried that yet, but worth a mention. Love your videos BTW
@@RyanHarrisRC I thinking about getting the older 4.0. Wanting to get back into the hobby an I don't necessarily need the latest, I'm thinking the older long shocks would be better as a race/ basher as well. Opinion much appreciated. Subscribed.
OHH AWESOME!!! Been watching your videos for many years now and I just moved to Florida and this track is like 15 minutes from me!!! Been wanting to get back into nitro and get into racing. In the past all I did was bash and that was all with electric cars. Have an Arrma Typhon that I converted to 4S but definitely want to get into nitro again. Last nitro I had was way back in 94. Anywho, hope to see ya at the track some day!!! Have a good one!!!
That's an Amazing Track. I wish there was something like it locally. I finally got into an Associated buggy after years of thinking I should And I'm glad I did. I liked it so much I picked up the 40th anniversary kit I wanted years ago. I really like the way your setup lands. I used to run Nitro but LiPo batteries spoiled me.
I wish the manufacturers would get back to making a boat of options for nitro like they had in the 90’s to early 2000’s. Boat loads of nitro touring cars to buggy’s, monster trucks, stadium trucks. The good old days like young Jared Tebo!
Amazing video ! Very interesting to watch from Europe how club racing is done in America, looks like loads of fun, good tracks and friendly environment.
i wish i had the composure to do after race talk like you do but my brain goes about 14x faster than my mouth, xD great video, gotta get my camera back out to the track
Was in Florida last week on vacation checked out beach line rc wish the oval was open but got to see a really nice facility either way and oh yeah way to warm lol 😂
On my RM I use the Samurai 7mm restrictor. On a new engine, you typically have it richen up as you get to 1/2 and 1 gallon marks and you will start to go rich and die.
best RC content out there. keep it up. I want to know what 1/10th scale buggy i should get, not that I need one, but I want to know what you think. Got my TLR stuff based on your previous videos
I am a recent subscriber to your channel. Do you have a video about header and mufflers? Is one better than the other and do they really make a difference? Great channel love your content. Great to see you talk about your build in detail then take it to the track to see it perform. A lot of TH-camrs don’t do that they just talk about the car or truck and never show us how it performs.
Make sure that your center diff isnt super tight. I run on super low grip and with 10-7-5 ( later went 15-4-10). The center diff felt like it was almost fully locked on the bench with 7k even after 8 batteries. It seems crazy but the car wouldnt allow for the center diff to give like i wanted and the rear was super loose
Would messing with the clutch shoes make the lower end of the power band change for os engines? There are a lot of moving parts in nitro compared to electric. Just starting to run nitro and sportman nitro content would be helpful. Making the nitro experience not as hard at first is helpful. Nitro is a journey compared to electric.
Just thought I would drop a Go"Pro" hack for summer time. To fix the overheating issue you have to set it to 30fps. Normally I would run 4k60 when cool outside and 5k30 when hot. It will run the SD card out before it stops. All 60fps settingswill overheat the gopro. 👍
Would you ever have any interest in doing some tekno videos? Maybe the et 410, 1/10 4x4 truggy class. Thank you so much for all of the content and everything you do for the hobby.
Hey have you ever done at 835B???? Let me know. And if you could let me know where I can watch the video I got one from a buddy of mine it needed some parts I got some parts for it and I haven't really messed with one before
Ryan how did the gold front HB front springs do? Just wondering because from what I see if you cross over the HB gold spring is measured in gf. And the associated spring is measured in in.lbs. The HB looks way stiffer so I was wondering how it did? Thanks buddy I like your videos
Very nice video. It would have been better if it were a Losi like your 1/10 cars lol. I also have gone to the darkside with my oval cars running a b6.4 street stock
You had a issue with ride height cuz you used a wrong shock rods on the bottom, in kit you have 0,+1 and +2. You needed 0 . Dont know why they put others
I don't understand why people run associated. All I ever see on fb pages are broken cars, missing parts from kits, lack of quality (counter sunk parts not being counter sunk) let alone they immediately halt production on parts for a car once the new kit comes out 6months after the last. TEKNO IS THE WAY TO GO

Best engine on the market in my opinion wish I could afford one.. Sick edit as usual 💯
Best looking 1/8 body I've seen in yeaaaars.
Nitro is the shit! Got my feet wet over the last few years and even with all the growing pains IM FREAKING STOKED ON IT….braaaaaaaaap!!
more nitro content! happy yo see you doing it here, always loved you content, you make such an awsome videos. keep doing it, cheers from brazil =)

@@DarkMagician225what did you get
@@CarveLife Got the 4.0 for $350 on Amain before the worlds an the price jumped back up the $700. Also grabbed a Mayako for $350 on black Friday.
What’s the difference between the rc8b4 & rc8b4.1?
Yes B4.1 . A lovely car that dominated for yrs and it took a change in track design and surface prep to usher in a change to mids. Miss that car. -U10
Awesome stuff Ryan! Hey way to go to Jett Lawrence huh?! I love that family! Nitro's the glory! Cheers bro!
_Really enjoyed this one.. great stuff!_
Amazing video, i love 8th scale content from youu 🔥🔥
That's cool seeing you try different brands Ryan!
Nice work Ryan 💯
Happy to see some Nitro content from you
- Thanks for sharing the Adventure with us 🩷
i like the side profile of the body as the roof line is somewhat WV bugg.
Congrats. Looks awesome!

Great vid Ryan.. Enjoyed that a lot mate.. Thanks for sharing your set up experiences..
That's a very nice buggy Ryan. Good job!
Man nitro racing looks so fun
Nitro content ! Keep it coming Ryan !
Great job, really like your 1/8 vids

Nice review and great track footage. Thanks for sharing
That transmitter mount and location is great!!
I would highly suggest the Tekno TKR9343B filter assembly, it softens the bottom end a tiny bit,but also increases the mileage by about a minute
Love the nitro content
Just picked up a 4.1, ready to get it dialed.
Great Video, oh how I miss firing up a nitro buggy and hearing 11 more singing a tune around the track!
Amazing video ! Very interesting to watch from Europe how club racing is done in America, looks like loads of fun, good tracks and friendly environment.
The thing with the tune you like is adjustable with the mixture controle needle 🙋♂️
Great horsepower and electronics combo! I’m running the exact same equipment and love it. I can see the RM.1 being a very popular choice at the track.

Bingo , 7mm is the way to go

Great video! Love the content. Your other rc cars are TLR. Why Associated and not TLR? Just curious.

the hb car requires a lot of those gatekept secrets to make it comfortable to drive

Ryan tamiya tblm 02s 17.5t motor or yokomo zero 3 17.5t motor on dirt with moderate jumps? Those are my choices, can't solder yet
Hey Ryan, enjoying the content atm and if Amain could send out Tekno or other brands for Ryan to test that would be Awesome 🤙🏽
maybe try the htc diffs in front and back from the .4
If I don't remember wrong so Jukka Steenari was the designer of that clutch in the -90es.. Em i wrong or do I remember right.
Very nice video. It would have been better if it were a Losi like your 1/10 cars lol. I also have gone to the darkside with my oval cars running a b6.4 street stock
The throttle and steering arms that came in the kit didn’t fit my Protek servos with the 25t. Weird. What arms did you go with?
Will you be releasing and video about those HB cars you used?
hey Ryan Harris you know anyway that i can get reverse on a nitro buggy? is there a transmission i can buy i want it to bash in jamaica
Was part of the reason for the switch from Losi the fact that's it's impossible to find parts? Kinda curious what the reason was.
Would you try the infinity iFB8 1/8th buggy. Would like your opinion on it before buying it.
How come nitro engine in those rc scale do not use the all aluminium/nikasil cylinder method ? Like motocross ?
Hey Ryan, what brand fuel and ratio do you use?
Hey ryan whats the name of that song at 2:10?
Hey Ryan could you do a review on the team associated rc10sc6.4 and turn it into a dirt oval sc mod
back to ae goodstuff
👍🏾💯
So does this mean you aren't a TLR guy anymore Ryan??
🙂👍👍👍
b4.1e next?
where is the link on the springs
Is Protek Amain's in-house brand?
It is.
You had a issue with ride height cuz you used a wrong shock rods on the bottom, in kit you have 0,+1 and +2. You needed 0 . Dont know why they put others
You have to find springs that will work?? Wtf
EXPENSIVE
I thought he was a TLR boi?
I'd have done the shell a better colour
Dont get a tlr 8 scale lol
Ya u only need $2000 , such a rip off , why are people ok with the prices of rc , we get screwed
gotta pay to play. these things are expensive to make, can only be so cheap. it costs money to be competitive too
@johnnyh.3328 I know I've been racing for years , it's the biggest money pit
@@midwestboss8808 I get where you're coming from and it's all relative. But mannnnnn, look into other types of racing. Even karting.
Im not responsible enough for a nitro lol
Such a fragile car don't give up the TLR buggy!!

TEKNO IS THE WAY TO GO
Lol I bought and built the 2.2 , XB8 24, and rc8b4.1 all in the last two weeks. Tekno is OK at best. Xray was the worst of the 3.
