I don’t have any issues with trans individuals, but even if I did, I would never enforce my personal beliefs on patients. Honestly as a teenager in high school… I’ve been made fun of for showing emotions and I have been yelled at for showing emotions people don’t like. So often, I bottle up my emotions and now everyone thinks I’m actually psychotic because I show practically no emotions. I have been told this by society so now I don’t think I have shed a tear in literal years. I got to talk with a friend who was a lady about this and I said that and they were like actually scared and frightened. I told them about my experiences and they said, “Yeah. Fraser North It probably depends on how close you were to them, and if you were in direct contact with them regularly for a long period of time or not. Two of my grandparents and my aunt died and I felt sad but didn’t cry. I’m a pretty sensitive person too, but I guess it was just because I only saw them like every 3-4 years for brief periods of time. If my parents or relatives that I see often died though, I know I’d be bawling.

I don’t have any issues with trans individuals, but even if I did, I would never enforce my personal beliefs on patients. I do my best to educate patients on the choices they have and how those choices will impact their life, but ultimately the patient makes their own decisions.

This is really powerfull though. For a young boy to see his father cry in front of him has a huge impact. First of all, it shows that it is ok for men to cry. It also demonstrates when it's ok to cry.
To clarify, I don't think men should cry over small things. I don't think anyone should cry over small things. That shows weakness. But to cry over important things. Like your mother dying, or just when life really breaks you down, that shows humility, and in turn, strength.
This all being said, I think men should be encouraged to express themselves. If they're feeling stress, they should be able to vent about it. It is not ok, nor is it healthy, to bottle everything up inside. That's partly why men live shorter lives than women. It is because the emotional toll bottling things up inside causes detriments our health.

As a former boy, no. When one of my parents cried it got me the feeling that the house was unstable. I looked up to my parents for protections so if one of them is crying that means something REALLY bad is happeneing.

Honestly as a teenager in high school… I’ve been made fun of for showing emotions and I have been yelled at for showing emotions people don’t like. So often, I bottle up my emotions and now everyone thinks I’m actually psychotic because I show practically no emotions.
I have been told this by society so now I don’t think I have shed a tear in literal years. I got to talk with a friend who was a lady about this and I said that and they were like actually scared and frightened. I told them about my experiences and they said, “Yeah. Some women are extremely toxic and I feel so bad for all men in today’s society for basically being told not to show emotion.”

Fraser North It probably depends on how close you were to them, and if you were in direct contact with them regularly for a long period of time or not. Two of my grandparents and my aunt died and I felt sad but didn’t cry. I’m a pretty sensitive person too, but I guess it was just because I only saw them like every 3-4 years for brief periods of time. If my parents or relatives that I see often died though, I know I’d be bawling.
