This world isn't the world we supposed to be living in! we should be living in a perfect world, a world without corruption,(of the mind and of the body), we should be in the everlasting glory, but of course disobedience, and not willing to ask for forgiveness led us where we are now... so your right.. if you can have every knowledge in this universe.. you will never find God.. because He is not of this world... but if you seek Him, you shall find Him..

You are right, you do not have a choice, if the evidence doesn't convince you there is a god then you are an atheist. Some of the draws to me was actually what I got to leave behind in my Christian thinking. I am no longer a homophobic racist which my religion had instilled in me. I got to throw off the dark veil of being a continuous "sinner" needing constant forgiveness from my master. Things make sense now that I don't have to cram everything into a 6000 year time frame. It is not so much that one becomes an atheist, but that one stops being a theist. Much like one does not start being a not golfer, but stops being a golfer. This small change shifts the thought process. It's not what "atheism" gives you, but what you stop accepting from theistic doctrine and it's practitioners. My two cents.

Absolute is a concept, just like God, as him to define it and prove it exist in reality. Either way you do not claim absolute , he does. When he says then everything you could possible be can be wrong, tell him yes, with evidence and everything so far we take tentatively and not dogmatic like he does. Ask him to prove his God as the absolute authority in some way other than a concept, before you continue on a fallacy argument with him.
Quick Tip when you talked to Sye, he asked what do you consider truth and how do you know its accurate and could you be wrong. He is using absolution fallacy, how dyou know absolutely you are correct. You say you dont because you are not claiming absolute, you are claiming reasonable evidence that can be tested and produce predicable results, scientific method, that is the source of reason. So far the highest standard in knowing what truth is, how ever you define it. Now ask that same question

You should become an atheist when you can no longer believe in your religion. As opposed to changing to a new religion. I think the question should be why should I be a Christian? Not believing in something without evidence should be the default position.
