They don’t make’em like this anymore,the casting alone is outstanding love these classics.
This is a fabulous movie, and my second watch: Dean Martin, Honour Blackman, Book Binder whose real name I can't remember, but a fabulous actor just the same. And Brian Keith - absolutely sensational acting pitch for the role. As to the music: this style of music for westerns came into fashion in the late 1970s, early 1980s, and even alterted Bonanza's theme song. It made westerns more current. This western though, is more of a comedy than a western. Sit back. Drink, Eat, ignore the washing in the washing machine - and enjoy.
And there's the back story of the Irishman hiding in western country in the US of A - from his long time betrothed, now middle aged, bride to be on a marryin' mission!, Irish Style!!!
I like Dean Martin in most movies....he was great 👍......this one is about 6/10.....Dean was a great showman......R.I.P. 👍 Mr smooth....

Dean Martin always made him great cowboy. Laid-back and very likable, but he could be pretty rough and rowdy when the role called for it.
All the women loved him, and all of the guys wanted to be him. 😉

I mainly like the song, Sth Big, and the comedy...other than that it was funny to see some of the problems, such as the bullet holder fall off the gatalin gun...then they had to cut and splice in one with the case fixed...the door not closing at the end...:)

The 70s movies all have a style. Still entertaining though.
Anything back then had class and style. I grew up in the 70s watching these movies, like dean Martin, had class and poise.

Those Sisters are truly one of the Writers Golden Nuggets, absent in self judgement, loving some Life, a dash of "stinker" and with a sexual outlook of the male gender.
They add a spice to this story that further gives it that something special.
A challenge for me to imagine in reality, having been highly influenced by both a deep Catholic and Southern Fundamentalist upbringing, the guilt generally preceded any idea of freedom to engage.
But, the truth be faced, theres no difference between Male and Female when it comes to the subject, only a long lived Double Standard that has no justifiable foundation.
Male and Female each have their natural strengths yet, under no circumstances should there exist any Double Standards, freedom shall always be an equal opportunity, fairness equally applies, and worthiness the same.
It really is a cute movie and Deano was a perfect Casting choice.
Humanity cintinues to Evolve, Emotionally, in Higher Minded Thought, where Wisdom resides.

Dean lost the spark of Life when his son died in a plan crash and he never got over it. I didn't know Dean, but I knew his best friend, Sinatra, through my husband,, an entertainer/vocalist, Sinatra's people managed my husband too.
