    Hello Christan! I'm curious if you can talk about your knowledge of replating mouthpieces! I own a mouthpiece of yours I really like, but it has some plating loss on the rim.

      Use Anderson Silverplate in Elkhart for replating mouthpieces. They provide a good service for a good price.

    Interesting- does this mean mouthpieces have a finite life?

      If not properly taken care of, yes. Plating also will wear and it's not best to play on raw brass long term. It's always a good idea to have a backup mouthpiece that you love in case one gets damaged. Just like a backup slide, a great idea.
