Way too many people are pooping on Adam's products....if they are rebranding European pressure washers that's a good thing for the consumer. Buy it on sale and it's solid for the price. It also doesn't sound horrible like 99% of the other pressure washers available at that price point...and it has some other nice features. Wake up people
I think most are under the assumption that Adam’s sold out like Chemical Guys did. As in, quantity over quality and overpriced for run of the mill. I don’t have much experience with Adam’s, I was gifted a Swirl Killer a few years ago, but I’m a Rupes rotary guy. Other than that, I like their Car Shampoo. $300 for a pressure washer that WILL fail is … NOT practical or value oriented, in my opinion. Cheaper throw away units all over the market now days. 😊😊😊
I don’t have much experience with Adam’s just the pressure washers. I do not like their marketing strategy of selling at higher prices and having constant sales making it look like you’re getting a deal. If it’s an AVA it will have some longevity.
Excellent review once again Mr. Keav. Thank you for all you do with pressure washer testing. It gives people an honest review of a pressure washer which may help some folks make an informed decision. I love that AVA $350 pressure washer. If I wasn't saving up for a wall mounted Comet from Obsessed Garage, I would buy that AVA unit!
@@CarsWithKeav I am seriously thinking about it. I have known about AVA for a while before they started selling in the USA. I was glad when I saw they have come to the US market. It looks like you get a lot for your money. I love the design of it and how it comes as a complete kit. That's a nice feature for new enthusiasts just getting into more serious detailing.
Maybe in a future video, explain what the orfice size means and how it effects your testing. I’m sure most understand it, but there’s probably a few noobs like me that need to be brought up to speed on the technical jargon. 😂. Thanks
Another excellent review!! Just bought a new pressure washer, missing some tips. Electric craftsman 2100 psi 1.2 gpm. Was thinking 3.0 tips ? one sight saying 2.0. Would appreciate your input on this. Tks.
On the Craftsman I think 2.0 is just too much pressure and not enough flow. I think the best overall size is a 2.5, but if you want the car wash flow a 3.0 is the way to go. I would run a 25 degree nozzle with a 3.0 to give you that impact of a 2.5, but with no loss in flow. if you are looking to be as close to out of the box as possible then the 2.0 would be the size. Won't be exact as they usually make them 1.7 or so which is not a size you can buy.
@ I forgot to mention that. Yes, it self primes a little bit less performance, but I always expect that when siphoning water. I didn’t test numbers though.
Thanks for the review. I was waiting to see if my 3.0 accessories would work with this machine. I bought it when it was on sale for power hour. 250. Still waiting for it to arrive.
Very nice! You got to get the Adams hardware products on sale and you got a good deal. I forgot to mention in the video this thin self primes as well from a bucket. Can't believe i didn't test that on camera.
Black Friday basic kit was 265 and power hour basic kit was 250. Unit only was 210 for Black Friday and 199 for power hour. The deep discount is the only way it was worth getting.
@@Si_Luis904 Unfortunately that has become the marketing strategy now just raise the prices and do sales so it looks like your saving. Amazon seems to be doing ti more now with their Black Friday sale basically being the same products and prices I have seen several times throughout the year. Not really a once a year sale that you would expect.
I personally would always put the swivels at the sprayer end. You will never have enough control to influence the swivel at the pressure washer. Having that at the spray gun just gives more control to you over the hose.
Agreed this should have come in different orientations. The wheels do come off though, but the rest is designed to keep it from being pulled over with the hose.
I just saw this review and wanted to ask, where can you get the Ava adapter for attaching other spray guns? Tried to loom for in your list of products used, but didn't find a listing. Keep up the reviews! Thanks for your help.
It’s this one right here, but it’s to allow you to adapt a hose so then you can add your spray gun. Won’t allow you to adapt their hose to work with another spray gun. amzn.to/3B6E5D4
How long was the wait for them to ship it out ? I purchased about more than week ago and my order still says “being processed” hasn’t shown any updates, might have to contact them. Great video btw!!!!!
I put my order in the beginning of Black Friday week and it delivered the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I would assume anything ordered around the Actual Friday to Cyber Monday will be delayed a bit. I have a few orders from that weekend with other sites and they have not been processed yet either.
Yes it is. I need more time with it the noise canceling might be too good. It messed with the sound a few times. I might have to turn that off so you can hear the real sound of the spray and equipment.
They have 25% off right now with code 12DAYS. That puts it at $225 for just the unit with no hose or gun or $270 with the hose and gun included. Do you think it’s worth the price compared to the other offerings out there?
@@ADAVETOREMEMBER-kh6qk The $270 with the hose and spray is the better deal. It’s in the range of AVA with what I think is a better hose and spray gun. I forgot to mention in the video this does self prime as well so you can siphon from a bucket.
@ yeah I started picking up items a month ago and actually ordered the ADAMS 60ft. Hose but it got mis shipped and took over 3 weeks to get here through USPS and box was torn open and pieced and taped back together. I had considered buying their pressure washer but kind of left me a little unsure. I could return the 60 ft and get the basic package for $270 but I like the extra length on the hose. Do you think just the unit itself at $225.00 is priced about right for its performance?
@ I think it’s a decent deal not sure you’ll get much less than that unless it’s Black Friday. I ordered the basic list with my last review unit the pro 2.0 and they totally forgot it. So I just asked for a refund.
@@Gazziza29 Yes, it will just siphon from a bucket. Something like a Ryobi Ez Clean will work as well and is more versatile and easy to store plus battery powered so no wires.
Yes it does, less amp pull as wellZ there is a point there where I think the machine operates at its optimum. You kind of have to listen to the motor it will let you know it’s not happy.
@@FrankoDetails THAT is exactly how you extend the life of your electric pressure washer. Reducing the amps reduces the wear and tear. I’m sure it’s not just you, but we got to convince you Ryobi isn’t junk. I don’t think that will happen though. 🤣🤣🤣 I do think just based on motor performance this will have some longevity especially if it’s an AVA pump, but not worth its retail price.
