Big fan of the Kramer, 1st the 690, now this! I think you get a hell of a lot of bike for less than a lot of modern road bikes. Thanks for the close-up look👍
Torque .. is ONLY a factor of cylinder output .. NOTHING to do with firing or cyl configuration or flywheel factors .. these all can affect traction, gear selecting or vibration harmonics
Not really, yes it is a lot of money but remember these machines are not mass produced road bikes, they are designed from the drawing board as a high specification track/race machine with no comprimise. Theres little point in attempting to compare them to anything 'road based' or mass produced, if you want something very different the ultimate track wepon look no further.
The engine may start as a production unit however for the GP2 8900RR it is heavily modified with titanium valves, new cam shafts, Pankl pistons, light weight con rods and larger throttle bodies so is far from a mass produced engine. This allows the RPM to be take from 10.500 RPM unto 12.000RPM with safety Take a look at the Pankl website pankl.com/racing/en/divisions/racing/ If you look at the price of a Moto 2 machine, they vary in price dependant upon manufacturer, approximately €80.000 & €100.000 and they have a production/mass produced Triumph engine...

@@MikeSpikeEdwards would love a Yamaha supertwin setup
That's a stunning thing of functional beauty Spike !
Interesting, grip is always a torque control. Getting it mechanically… 😎

Thanks for your reply and explanation.
Is the price not ridiculous? 36000€. Yuu could get a 1000rr and for another 4000 more, a panigale v4r.

@@MikeSpikeEdwards the engine is mass produced. But still the price is ridiculous.
