Watching that KOF final live was one of the best things I've experienced

When Bala pulled out Clark I actually yelled at the top of my lungs
That KOF 13 grand finals was indeed one of the hypest games I've ever watched.
That KoFXIII tournament was amazing. It's too bad that Bala seemed to lose his cool near the end, but he was amazing and even though he didn't win, I still think he showed the world that he's one of the best players out there. I can't wait to see what the next Evo brings.
The entire KOF13 tourney was insanely hype. No other Evo moments were as fun to watch. I'm going to play KOF now.
I STILL wish Bala won ;_;. Come back later was such a glorious moment.

As someone who loves UMVC3 and has never played KOFXIII.... I think I agree with you.
The finals of UMVC seemed hype, but holy SHIT that KoF match was unlike anything I've seen at EVO before.
Personally, I felt 2012 was KOFXIII year. Those Koreans just came out of nowhere. And combined with Infiltration winning SF and another Korean that won Tekken? It was like Korea was on top of the FGC for a while after that EVO.

Still watching this in 2015. I watched this EVO live from start to finish (online) when it aired and was never as amused or entertained by any other EVO events like i was this one, i will never forget it, man if only i was able to go in person

KOF XIII had the most hype EVO moments this year, that final match between Bala and Mad KoF was intense.
evo was amazing this year! that finals though, gah! i'm so glad i streamed it at home cause staying at the venue for that long was a test to all spectators as well. kof and umvc finals were nuts! can't wait to see what's in store for next year

Evo was amazing this year, the Bala v MadKOF was the highlight for me, but the UMvC3 tourney was definately the most hype. I dont like Champ, but I give him credit for winning with a non Phoenix team, Infrit played amazing so I feel sad for him.

KOF XIII gave me a near heart attack. Bala was so close and a lot of tables turned. Thanks to him, I start using Takuma. Takuma is actually fun to use and to think I thought he wasn't too interesting to use. But I was wrong. KOF seriously gave me the most hype out of all years of EVO. K-O-F FOREVER!!!
Even fighting game tournaments give me lil emotional moment :')

I never played KOF in my life, like once when I was 5, and I love UMvC3, I play it a lot and planning to go to tournaments later on, and I could tell koF was so hype when I was on stream. The chatbox was flooded with OMG BALA OvO! and stuff like that and I pushed my friend out of my window, I was hype more then ever and encouraged me to play KoF13. I was just waiting for Umvc3 to stream to get on too. God, this was a really strong and hype moment and really does top off Umvc3 this year.

Dude evo was so awesome. This was my first time at evo and I got sad when it was over, haha It almost felt like something was missing in my life . There's such a cool atmosphere and everyone else is awesome. I'll definitely go every year now and participate :D some of my friends are even coming just to go to evo. That's how cool it was

from what i've seen so far with most events with top level play is that the pros usually dont use ultras unless its to combo something in. Infiltration top it to the next step by incorporating a key component which helped him win matches

Tears of Joy....
It was all about KoF for me, me and my friends we were screaming from our houses it was so exciting and intense. Marvel was kind of boring for me, however (though, I am not an MvC3 fan.)
I have to say, this year's EVO was the best, especially because of KoF, I had all but completely given up on KoF and this EVO has inspired me to start playing it again, you could tell that the players enjoyed this game and the crowd enjoyed watching it. I hope it returns next year, I'd love to see some runbacks

Great vid Max, but you shouldn't have limited it to only 5 moments! There were a couple other great moments too. Off the top of my head there was the point in the MK finals where one of the players went to the command list to find out how to do a Fatality which was hilarious, and of course in SC5 where Decopon won the entire tournament with "low tier" Tira.

kof was my fav though i only saw the final....the skill required to pull off some of those combos in kof is insane possibly some of the most hardest in any fighting game

I`m having a hard time to decribe EVO 2012 so i`ll go with one word: Epic!
That Bayonetta track "One of a Kind" made that whole last half amazing.
That spider-man comeback was by far the best thing in the UMvC3 Tournament!
