I don't remember the exact method for the glitch, but it had to do with doing THC with Dante and interrupting the startup with his Stinger. Wesker would come out and freeze up the game, and if the stinger hit the opponent it'd put him in blockstun, so he could continuously do stingers to chip the character out while the game dealt with the lockup from the THC. Rogueyoshi found it and was at that tourney with the sole purpose of doing the glitch on someone. Hence commentators "there it is!".
I'm not sure how much control Dante keeps during the glitch, whether or not he is forced to only do stingers during that time, etc. This was the only time I saw it happen and after that I figure it got patched out.(either that or it was very close to UMvCs release so it didn't matter after that.)
i wish people that dont even play the game can see the hype that us who have at least tried it experience when watching almost every tournament. Theres always a very funny, embaressing epic moment in a tournament. Marvel, is my Super Bowl..and its not once a year :)
capcom should have added hulk hogan and his devastating finishing move: the fingerpoke of doom because thats what the game is all about one touch combos that kill your characters
