Platine prive is insane ! The best in its DNA. It has the same dna as Tygar but in my opinion it’s way better. Unfortunately tho it’s only for summer because it’s not strong enough for cold weather
To be honest, the scent doesn’t give a Autumn/winter vibe….its quite green and the scent profile is definitely targeted towards warmer weather so it doesn’t need to be strong. That being said, people smell it on me well into the day, the performance is still pretty good.
I love this one. I have about 60% left in my bottle from last year. I have a feeling I’ll get close to finishing it by the time summers over. Will be getting another bottle if it’s still available by then.
would love to see a full comparison between the two. I got two bottles of the cologne stashed away and absolutely love it. I still need to get my hands on platine though.

Bought this one last Autumn, mostly too late to get the best wear out of it. Looking forward to testing it out this Spring and Summer. I have multiple back up bottles of the cologne. I agree with your take on the differences between the two.
@@rottenrebelsyeah I highly recommend it. It’s rather unique, especially in comparison to most of what’s being released these days. It lasts for days on clothing and has this amazing powdery iris, leather opening with this hint of citrus. It’s just such a nice addictive fragrance.
I'm so glad I didn't get it, I can't do vetiver, my nose just picks up intensely smoky burnt wood. I almost went for it thinking it was spicy and dark (from the bottle) and went for Extreme instead... which smells fantastic but unfortunately on me almond turns bitter and metallic and I had a few... not so great comments, lol. I should try Cologne or Cool if I can sometime... but may this line just isn't for me, sadly. Great review though. :)
Last summer I tested both Cool and Cologne at the local perfumery. I knew both were discontinued so it caught my attention. I tested cool on my skin and I was a big fan. The cologne eventually sold out. However, a friend of mine both the whole stock they had of Cool😂
This was a great release but it is very similar to cologne. I prefer the cologne more just cause it was more of that creamy almond where Prive has a bit more dose of the citrus with the almond toned down. It’s a good release since cologne is discontinued. But I think they should of just called it a re-release
Is this or cologne similar at all to mancera aoud lemon mint? That one is almond and lemon. I already own it and always wondered if it's similar to these two at all?

@@rottenrebels Among the eight released, I would say it's the 4th best after EDP, Extreme & EDT. I get the creamy almond DNA with a citrus blast. I wouldn't say it's unique, but it's loveable. 7 over 10 for me. That's just my humble opinion.
I have it and the opening reminds me a little of Imagination by LV, but only for a view minutes. I don’t know why, but there is something in it, that reminds me of a creme. Something I don’t really like. I haven’t tested it in summer so far. Maybe this will be bettering warmer months. I have also the habit Rouge Prive , and that is a masterpiece. Very classy! Very gentlemen like. I bought of it a backup bottle.

I bought Guerlain L'homme Ideal platine privé on Black Friday, but I haven't taken it out of the packaging yet, I'm waiting for summer.

That stuff is spectacular. Guerlain is an amazing house and the whole L’Homme Ideal line is amazing but Platine Prive is top of the lot.

Smelled it in Dubai. It’s gross. Don’t blind buy. To me it’s a very damp vetiver with some very sweet. It’s an acquired taste I think
