I own L'intense, Extreme and EDP and i find it impossible to pick a favourite, all 3 are absolutely sublime, Guerlain just do it right, the way they blend their scents is such high quality.
The EDP is my absolute favorite. ❤ I loved the Cologne as well that was released, but, I didn't realize it was as good as it was at the time. But that Cherry and Almond from the EDP is definitely a step up.

I have the chance to try the edp, l’intense and the edt. From the first sniff i got from the EDP i was blown away and bought a bottle on the spot!! I hope they will not discontinue this one but if they’re i will definitely buy a backup bottle even if it’s a bit expensive here in Senegal (around 120$). Anyway great content as everyday this duo is amazing! Hope you will do next a review of Mancera perfumes . Take care guys!!

Guerlain got sooo many Good fragrances. My number one out of these is the Extreme Vision second edt and the edp is number three. But one of my absolutley favorite Guerlain fragrance is still Heritage….

Can't go wrong with the EDT.. To me it's a classy scent that works for both casual and formal occasions. Please do let me know how you like it when you get it.. 1. EDT - very versatile, suitable for any occasion. my signature scent 2. Extreme - when it's time to go formal, extreme is my choice to go. i have one silly compliment about this one. my client says "you smell professionally intimidating". 3. EDP - for me basically EDT on steroids. perfect night fragrance I don't own and never try the rest so I can compare...
I own the originator of the line ,L'Homme Ideal,long since discontinued and still my Summertime favorite,the grapefruit with almonds ..My favorite aunt hates perfumes, but miraculously she Loves this..
Thats one of the toughest comparison you guys would have done chosing between 1st, 2nd and 3rd. But for me both EDP and extreme comes first depending on the situation i am wearing, definately would think extreme is more of a ‘statement maker’ kind of scent! :)

After an entire week of sampling all of them, I bought the intense, EDP, EDT,and the Extreme, they are all definitely “ niche” quality perfumes. I very carefully listened to your reviews and most definitely you guys have a discerning “ nose”, since I agree 100 percent with your respective opinions of the different perfumes. Since I am a lifelong bachelor at 65, and a bon bivant at heart , I wear these different perfumes for my own pleasure, but, I find it a bonus and hilarious that I am getting complements as to how I smell from women that are from 30 to 40 years younger than me🤣, keep up the good work, and cheers to the two of you 🫵🥂
i enjoyed watching the way you both broke down the different fragrances of the Ideal line up. I got Habit Rouge 3 weeks ago. I received the Ideal Parfum today. I am interested in getting the Intense/Extreme. What an amazing line up. By the way, habit rouge dry down smells like Dior Homme Intense. Very powdery. You got yourself another excited subscriber.

Yesterday came my big ass 150 ml bottle of L'Homme Ideal Edt. I found it at 60 € on sale. It's pure heaven! But let's be honest, the entire L'Homme Ideal line is pure olfactory magic

Great review....I have the entire line to include Sport and the long discontinued Cologne....all are great scents and a fantastic line that in my opinion doesn't get enough praise!
My favourite is the EDP followed by L’intense. The EDP on a wool coat lasts days and my wardrobe smells just amazing after Hanging the coats back in. The L’intense works like a charm esp in extremely cold weather when you wanna wear a leather jacket and boots. Overall the whole line is impeccable and it’s always a tough call.

I'm really interested in these! But none of my local stores sell it! I'm excited to smell! Almond, so I'll be blind buying if I Go ahead with it. I'm choosing between the EDT and the EDP. I like that. It seems that the EDT is the most versatile, but everyone raves about the EDP. Had a car freshener that had this horrible, annoying synthetic cherry smell. I've never really been a huge fan of cherries anyways, but everyone says great things about the EDP. The EDT is also cheaper where I'm at, so I'm not sure which to get. It seems like it would make sense to get the EDT, but I would rather buy something I'm really going to enjoy and not waste TOO much money lol.
I got the whole collection but you're missing out if you've not got cologne. sport and cool are ok but cologne 😙👌🏾 got two backup bottles of that. extreme is my favourite though.

I own Intense,Sport,EDT,EDP,Cool,and Cologne ...and while all are related , each has very different personalities.In the warm offerings,Cologne,Cool then Sport followed by EDP,EDT,Intense
I thought it was, but since I see it with a new label I think they sold out "old design" bottles in order to introduce the new design (which seems to cover all of them). I have not compared "old design" bottle vs new though, so don't know of any changes to the juice🤷♂️
For me, L'Intense is my favorite. In my skin has beast mode duration (I spray one day, one day later, even after shower, I get hints of it), and I live for cold weather with a nice sweet. But I agree, the whole line is amazing.

This is one of my favorite lines, from one of my favorite houses. I didn't intend to, but I ended up owning all of them. Even the Cologne and Sport version.
I’ve never smelled L’intense, but the extreme is by far my favorite. It gets me the most compliments and is just my personal all time favorite fragrance. Plus the edt’s longevity and projection are not the greatest
My favourite Is Extreme version. You are right, it smells like a boozy scent. It gives me rum vibe. Really like these type of videos (covering a whole fragrance line/house). I couldn't stop laughing at 5:15 hahhahahha you made my day. 😂

I have all 7 in their first editions. EXTREME is my favorite. Glad most ladies share my opinion... 😊 Vintage Extreme is pretty hard to get. Thankfully I was able to snatch 3 big bottles back then. 🙏

i have used the intense during the summer and i loved it but now i am thinking about getting the extreme for the winter, which on do you think would be a better fit for the winter my last winter fragrance was loewe 7 anonimo what do you think? btw keep up the amazing content you are doing great
I used to burn through almost an entire bottle of L'homme ideal cologne every single summer.. Love the scent! Cool is NOT as good as it but it did replace cologne as that freshie with almond. Have you tried Cool?

Hey brotha! I appreciate the ❤️😁 Thank you! I chose not to include L'homme Ideal Cologne in this video because I wanted to focus on the scents people still can find online. I hope you enjoyed the comparison nonetheless. 🙏 cologne is discontinued and I have not seen it in stores for a long time.. I do LOVE it though and I've burned through quite a few bottles of it when it was still around. Fantastic scent 😁 I never bought "sport".. I liked it, but the performance was quite bad on my skin so I never bothered getting it.
If you have to keep one - your favorite Guerlain, or stronger with you absolutely? It’s a tough call for me , I think swi has more versatility though than guerlain edp. I love the cherry but I can’t wear it super often because it’s so rich
oh no... Don't make me choose between two of my for life fragrances.. 😉👀 They are both fantastic but in different ways.. There's really nothing like THAT almond scent. And absolutely is also doing it's own thing with a bit of that "SWY DNA".. Both the EDP and Absolutely are some of my absolute favorites 🤩
I.LOVE this line, just like the Dior Homme Line...my favorite one is the EDP ,the almond note is so creamy & unique ,slightly powdery and so upper class ,dress up and spray on.Funny thing I just got chased for a half block by two guys wanting to know what lotion ,I was wearing it was The EDT🤣🤌
The best from the Ideal line was the Cologne (Sadly discontinued), followed by the Sport, EDP, Lintense, Extreme, EDT and Cool at last!!! In that order.

first and foremost, i love this video, i watch both sandra and rotten rebels reviews, and my journey into fragrances started 2 years ago, i do not own any of these, but wanted to buy 1 or 2, as the one i do own and only one i ever smelled is the discontinued L'homme ideal cologne the white bottle with white cap, and i absolutely love that one, i am now going to try to find the edp and extreme, thanks for an awesome review.

@@rottenrebels to be honest with you i surf the gray sites every other day, and guerlain's are never ever in stock or available, except for a canada site but they charge 15 bucks for shipping, but i think is time i finally pickup the edp to continue with the line, will start this morning scouting for it,lol, even if i have to pay extravagant shipping fees.
L'Intense is my favorite, edp is very very nice but for me to sweet and not so long lasting. Extreme is boozy and I find it hard to use. All of them are high quality, hope for some new release...
@@rottenrebels I have tried them at the store. I guess both are 95% similar. There must be a small difference though. Need to use both side by side to be able to distinguish, specially after the drydown. At the store, I get confused and nose blind after trying 6-7 perfumes. May be you can make a comparison video between both.

Today was my first time walking round Belfast in months so I quickly went on a quest for new fragrances.....big mistake! 20mins later I left a certain department store with PdM Godolphin....😬😬😬. In my defence, it was on offer and on my list of future purchases although not a priority. Hey ho.... 😚 Oh and incidentally, the charming lady at the Guerlain counter tried to get me to purchase something and when she asked if I had tried any of the men's range I did smile, pointing out I had most of them. ☺
I only have the extreme. I like it, but it doesn't blow my mind. I got it recently, so maybe once even colder weather comes it will really show itself off. Definitely not something for the heat lol
What is ideal ranked: Hermes Edt, hermes pure parfum, hermes Intense vetiver, hermes eau tres fraiche and hermes eau givree ? Answer in a next video, please!
Guerlain has said that the EDP was designed to be a more linear fragrance like Tom Ford's Oud Wood.. so it's use can be for formal occasions. So interesting how you interpret the smell of the dry down as different than the opening.. the interpretation must have been psychological... also the EDP would be a horrible date night fragrance because it projects... why recommend that for the wrong reasons??? The only one in the line that is even meant to be women- appealing is Extreme. Guerlain published a study stating this and the line is meant to be a male indulgence.

I honestly use most of these throughout the year. With that said, the Extreme and L'intense might lean a bit more towards fall and winter but the EDT and the EDP will smell amazing as well. EDT and EDP are a bit lighter making them great all year round and cool/sport/cologne are more fresh making them more suitable for spring/summer. Try EDP or EDT during summer night outs though.. Gorgeous scent development when it's a bit warmer 👌

Thank you! Yes, I do think the edp is OK for work. Sure, it's sweeter than the EDT but it's still very much a very easy to like scent that's focused on the almond. It's simply not a scent that anyone really dislikes 😊 If you are going to buy one of these, go with the one you love the most. Simple as that 😊👍 If you are worried about a scent for work, then I would say adjust your sprays.. Try fewer sprays initially and see how people react. 😊 Hope that helps!

Awesome takes in the line! Enjoyed ur opinions. My fav is my bottle of EDT. It’s so delicate and pleasant. The EDP I have in a decant gives me the most extreme reactions, I have a bottle of cologne version which is my 3rd it’s so nice fresh and creamy. 4th lilintense. Nice and dark very good it just had hard competition. Cool was ok didn’t buy it and never smelled the extreme

To my nose it leans more towards the EDP with it's sweetness than the EDT 😊

EDP is too sickly sweet fo rme, I prefer the extreme - feels more rounded (wish it projected/lasted more) but I love the smell - I jus overspray lol. but those are my top 2..
Definitely Extreme and EDP but Intense and EDT work ofcourse as well. The ones that are more on the "warm" side are extreme, edp, intense and edt. All those are perfect for fall/spring and even winter. I currently reach for Extreme and EDP more, and go for the EDT when I want that guerlain almond scent but in it's most versatile way since it's not as sweet as the edp nor as packed with stronger scents like the Extreme. 👌

Actually the Intense is my favorite....dark leathery and the dry down is heavenly with the vanilla 10/10 scent...it's a "dare to wear" scent!!!!

I'm choosing between the EDT and the EDP. I like that. It seems that the EDT is the most versatile, but everyone raves about the EDP.
Had a car freshener that had this horrible, annoying synthetic cherry smell. I've never really been a huge fan of cherries anyways, but everyone says great things about the EDP. The EDT is also cheaper where I'm at, so I'm not sure which to get. It seems like it would make sense to get the EDT, but I would rather buy something I'm really going to enjoy and not waste TOO much money lol.
I got the whole collection but you're missing out if you've not got cologne. sport and cool are ok but cologne 😙👌🏾

The EDP is a masterpiece. Absolutely beautiful. Has it been discontinued? I've only been able to find it on Amazon (with the "new" label).
I thought it was, but since I see it with a new label I think they sold out "old design" bottles in order to introduce the new design (which seems to cover all of them). I have not compared "old design" bottle vs new though, so don't know of any changes to the juice🤷♂️
Bigtime reduction in performance with the new line. Which is the trend for all these perfume houses.
For me, L'Intense is my favorite. In my skin has beast mode duration (I spray one day, one day later, even after shower, I get hints of it), and I live for cold weather with a nice sweet. But I agree, the whole line is amazing.

This is one of my favorite lines, from one of my favorite houses. I didn't intend to, but I ended up owning all of them. Even the Cologne and Sport version.
how do you rate L'homme Ideal Sport if you compare it to Cologne and Cool?
I personally rate it last out of those 3 with Cologne #1.

I’ve never smelled L’intense, but the extreme is by far my favorite. It gets me the most compliments and is just my personal all time favorite fragrance. Plus the edt’s longevity and projection are not the greatest

I don't like sweet fragrances, but Ideal Intense is really well done .The spicy/smokey really balances the cherry/almond notes.

I used to burn through almost an entire bottle of L'homme ideal cologne every single summer.. Love the scent! Cool is NOT as good as it but it did replace cologne as that freshie with almond. Have you tried Cool?
I only have extreme and love it. Thus I can't comment on the other ones until I tried them 😊

cologne is discontinued and I have not seen it in stores for a long time.. I do LOVE it though and I've burned through quite a few bottles of it when it was still around. Fantastic scent 😁
I never bought "sport".. I liked it, but the performance was quite bad on my skin so I never bothered getting it.

If you have to keep one - your favorite Guerlain, or stronger with you absolutely? It’s a tough call for me , I think swi has more versatility though than guerlain edp. I love the cherry but I can’t wear it super often because it’s so rich
oh no... Don't make me choose between two of my for life fragrances.. 😉👀 They are both fantastic but in different ways.. There's really nothing like THAT almond scent. And absolutely is also doing it's own thing with a bit of that "SWY DNA"..

first and foremost, i love this video, i watch both sandra and rotten rebels reviews, and my journey into fragrances started 2 years ago, i do not own any of these, but wanted to buy 1 or 2, as the one i do own and only one i ever smelled is the discontinued L'homme ideal cologne the white bottle with white cap, and i absolutely love that one, i am now going to try to find the edp and extreme, thanks for an awesome review.

I still have a backup bottle of cologne.. Love it and it used to be one of my favorites on warmer days. Have you tried cool? It's not as fantastic as cologne but it is freshness + that almond in a nice blend 👌 EDP and Extreme are fantastic scents 🤩
@@rottenrebels to be honest with you i surf the gray sites every other day, and guerlain's are never ever in stock or available, except for a canada site but they charge 15 bucks for shipping, but i think is time i finally pickup the edp to continue with the line, will start this morning scouting for it,lol, even if i have to pay extravagant shipping fees.
L'Intense is my favorite, edp is very very nice but for me to sweet and not so long lasting. Extreme is boozy and I find it hard to use. All of them are high quality, hope for some new release...

@@rottenrebels I have tried them at the store. I guess both are 95% similar. There must be a small difference though. Need to use both side by side to be able to distinguish, specially after the drydown. At the store, I get confused and nose blind after trying 6-7 perfumes. May be you can make a comparison video between both.

Today was my first time walking round Belfast in months so I quickly went on a quest for new fragrances.....big mistake! 20mins later I left a certain department store with PdM Godolphin....😬😬😬. In my defence, it was on offer and on my list of future purchases although not a priority. Hey ho.... 😚 Oh and incidentally, the charming lady at the Guerlain counter tried to get me to purchase something and when she asked if I had tried any of the men's range I did smile, pointing out I had most of them. ☺

Guerlain has said that the EDP was designed to be a more linear fragrance like Tom Ford's Oud Wood.. so it's use can be for formal occasions. So interesting how you interpret the smell of the dry down as different than the opening.. the interpretation must have been psychological... also the EDP would be a horrible date night fragrance because it projects... why recommend that for the wrong reasons??? The only one in the line that is even meant to be women- appealing is Extreme. Guerlain published a study stating this and the line is meant to be a male indulgence.

Which is good for fall and winter ? And summer spring ?
I honestly use most of these throughout the year.
With that said, the Extreme and L'intense might lean a bit more towards fall and winter but the EDT and the EDP will smell amazing as well.
EDT and EDP are a bit lighter making them great all year round and cool/sport/cologne are more fresh making them more suitable for spring/summer.
Try EDP or EDT during summer night outs though.. Gorgeous scent development when it's a bit warmer 👌

Love your channel! Do you think the EDP would be ok for work? I am looking for a versatile signature fragrance for Autumn/Fall. My everyday one for Summer was Hermes Eau Givree.
Thank you! Yes, I do think the edp is OK for work. Sure, it's sweeter than the EDT but it's still very much a very easy to like scent that's focused on the almond. It's simply not a scent that anyone really dislikes 😊
If you are going to buy one of these, go with the one you love the most. Simple as that 😊👍 If you are worried about a scent for work, then I would say adjust your sprays.. Try fewer sprays initially and see how people react. 😊

Awesome takes in the line! Enjoyed ur opinions. My fav is my bottle of EDT. It’s so delicate and pleasant. The EDP I have in a decant gives me the most extreme reactions, I have a bottle of cologne version which is my 3rd it’s so nice fresh and creamy. 4th lilintense. Nice and dark very good it just had hard competition. Cool was ok didn’t buy it and never smelled the extreme

If you LOVE "that" Guerlain L'homme Ideal scent then try Extreme if you get the chance.. To my nose it leans more towards the EDP with it's sweetness than the EDT 😊

EDP is too sickly sweet fo rme, I prefer the extreme - feels more rounded (wish it projected/lasted more) but I love the smell - I jus overspray lol. but those are my top 2..

Definitely Extreme and EDP but Intense and EDT work ofcourse as well.
The ones that are more on the "warm" side are extreme, edp, intense and edt.
All those are perfect for fall/spring and even winter. I currently reach for Extreme and EDP more, and go for the EDT when I want that guerlain almond scent but in it's most versatile way since it's not as sweet as the edp nor as packed with stronger scents like the Extreme. 👌
