Went to this show and it was my first time seeing them live. They were so good and completely exceeded expectations. Some of the performances like Pneuma and The Grudge were so good it's hard to listen to the album versions again after experiencing them live.
Went to this same show and it was also my first TOOL concert. It was a fucking religious experience for me. I've been to hundreds of concerts in my life, but I've never seen a band play as tight as these guys did. Absolutely incredible show and I hope they come back this way SOON because I can't stop thinking about it! Also, I'm in this video! Left side of the stage, just to the right of the red screen thingy on the sound console, and I'm the dude with the red t-shirt and a baseball cap on. That's the 2nd video of this show I've found myself in lol
@@HoldMyPoopKnife went a couple days ago and was my first tool concert. Been wanting to see them live for 14 years and finally got to see them. Need to see them again, shit was fuckin insane
First time seeing them at this show. It was hands down one of the best experiences of my life. My first time hearing a tool song was in the mid 90's in Spokane. This band is so amazing and talented. ✅️🪣
I hope that tool comes to switzerland the very first. All swiss heavy old Rockers wait for you. Maybey in the hallenstadion, next 24 with 13500 other people. That will be a great heappening with st. Galler Bratwurst!!!!!!
I didn’t realize until this year that they’re a Balkan music group using American electric instruments. Anyone in WA want to hold hands and dance in a circle the next time they come through, I’m down.
It does seem slower than other versions I've heard...I bet it's intentional though...it's not relaxed but does seem to " breathe" differently ..usually in a live situation the tendency is to rush a little....these guys are so confident !
I was there and the crowd was quite raucous and lively. This was the one song where everyone was allowed to record with their phones, so that's probably why it seems that way (there was a strict no recording rule and you got kicked out if caught). On all the other songs people were going nuts. Well, as nuts as you can go with all seats and no general admission/pit area
I freaking love Tool... but their live performances are kinda mehhh. Let's be honest, if it wasn't for the lighting and projections, it would be a kinda boring show.
I freaking love chicken... But let's be honest if it wasn't for the seasoning, the fact it was cooked, and the care to make the chicken perfect. Let's be honest chicken would be bland.
Were you hoping for Maynard to jump through a ring of fire? You are seeing amazing band create incredible music out of thin air right before your eyes. Thats not enough?
I've been to hundreds of concerts in my life, and this was hands down the tightest live performance I've ever seen. The sound was incredible and I enjoyed every second of it. Maybe I appreciated it more because I'm a musician, but it sure seemed like everyone else there enjoyed it as much as I did. It was a lot of things, but boring was NOT one of them

So true!! I see them in 5 days and it was mind blowing to see them live 20 years ago!!

I was there and this was the Raddest thing I've EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!! 1st timer too!
Yep agree, it’s basically a life experience going to one of their shows
You guys are so lucky in US. Waiting for the European tour. Seen them 11 times and counting :) they are completely beyond words..
Awesome video! I was at their show in winnipeg but it was strict no phones. They are a real Phenomenon
Also 53 but got to see them last night. Even met Justin in the hotel bar the night before.
Great video! Thanks for posting.
I'm 53 and still waiting to see the live
Why are you waiting? They are on tour right now.
Dude just do it
Are they touring in Ireland ?
@@tomfoley2637 Right now they are in the US. They were in Dublin last year.
Cant wait anymore … montreal 19/11/23

This show was so fucking epic!!
loved the concert, I was very close to you!
Honestly the best way to close a show ever

The magickal...

TooL
Fantastic footage. Well done my friend 😊
Way better seat then we had on the floor still wouldn’t trade that day for the world
You know what is so cool on here? 3:07, where there is an F-sharp instead of F-natural, yet NOBODY seems Fazed at all.
It’s like a religious experience … you never get over .. long live TOOL. The modern day Led Zeppelin
Benchmark musicians, every one of them.
Someone get Danny a Gonzaga jersey. Thought the Zappa shirt is pretty damn good.
He wore one at a Spokane show a few years ago. Crowd went nuts when he stood up from behind his drums and had a Zags jersey on
fuck this song is so good

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there was some really good ganja inhaled that evening.
🙂
This needs slightly more uptempo. The song is fantastic of course, but the tempo is very hard to get exactly right it seems.

Willy Wonka is on max
The crowd is dead! WTF!

If you don't get it...
...you don't get it
I heard green day is coming to town. Now THERE'S an epic show, right jason?
Brain dead. Sorry
I'm totally disappointed in the performance. he's gotten old...
Were you there? Because I was there and each member of the band put on the performance of a lifetime. Cell phone video/audio doesn't do it justice
Thatssssss……. Kinda what this song is about… 😂 you goofball
Guacamole is better with cilantro
