When I became a quadriplegic in 2009, I didn’t have any insight into the lives of the roughly 20% of Americans living with a disability. While dealing with my recovery, I also had to grapple with how my identity was being reshaped by social barriers and attitudes that hindered my ability to live and interact with the world in the same way as before. In April 2020, my husband Rudy and I welcomed twin girls into the world. I face the same joys and challenges of any parent, but with some extra twists! Join me on my journey of beauty, love and adventure in a world that is still mostly designed for the non-disabled. I hope my story will challenge biases and equip viewers with new perspectives. I love this idea I have 3 year old like you I found it hard to get information for a disabled mum and I live in the UK good luck with everything xx
