Dear Akbar, you can always share that kind of hadith with other Muslims and your friends, just say it from the perspective of a believer who has some problem with this hadith. In that case, you are sure that no one can accuse you and tell you that you are Murtad or Kaffer etc. . You are planting a seed of doubt in others' minds, that in time could grow and become a powerful tree.

Yeah seriously! I just learned about this a few hours ago! (Sahih Bukhari 146) Sauda wife of Muhammad catches red-handed (or perhaps white-handed) my man Umar watching her do the real business, and Umar manages to talk his way out of it. Unless I'm mistaken, that story is one of the arguments for niqabs. These guys are too much. XD Speechcraft 100.

very recent ex-muslim here. i think something very interesting is to look back at my experiences (as a muslim) and realize things that i otherwise wouldn't have realized.
in school we were taught about the companions of muhammad. umar was described as "strict", but in a good way. so he was portrayed to us as strong, courageous, even if he was strict it was for the good of islam, etc. i can't believe he was supposed to be our role model or something.
another thing is i remember my teacher telling the class about killing apostates as a "strategy" of upholding islam. now i'm like... how did we not question that?!
leaving islam, for me personally, it feels like the ending of a mystery novel. there were all these red herrings, characters with fake identities, there were hints, clues, or evidence i missed, embedded throughout the whole story. but only now do i see how much i overlooked.
i still have much more to learn. but i'm looking forward to coming up with my own conclusions and analyzing what was once unquestionable.

After reading about Islamic History, I think Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman knew that Muhammad was making up Allah and they were his partners in crime.
However I think Ali was genuinely fooled by Muhammad like rest of the regular Arabs. He may have really thought Muhammad was prophet of Allah.
Secondly I don't find character of Ali much repulsive by modern standards unlike Prophet and his other companions. He may had genuinely loved his 1st wife and children.

Once again i'll say, when it comes to the stories and hadiths about the sahabis and what they had done. many muslims will say it was only the norm back then, now islam had been progressing and become better. When there are embarrassing and awful incidents involving the prophet or the sahabis, muslim will flip and said "that was just back then. now it's different." but when the topic about equality for women, homosexual, or even enforcement of hijab, muslim will be fixed on their stands and said that "the laws can never be changed for that. we must follow what had been stated on the quran or on the hadiths". the double standards..

You sure somehow have to accept this silly claim if you want to be in the game, but Umar is just a guy like everyone else. There is no way that saying "there is no Angel in heaven that does not respect Umar" is not a clear statement from nepotism which would make Muhammad a liar who makes stuff up in his and his family's favor.

He is picking the lame, unverified narrations out of his bigotry and to calm his soul, heart that he did something good by becoming an ex-muslim. Also please verify the authenticity of narrations by yourself.
Every Muslim admire Omar R.A . Even Christians and jews at that time admired Omar R.A. that's why Omar was handed over the Palestine (holy place of major religion) by the Christians without shedding single drop of blood. Christians writers wrote "had Omar R.A lived for another decade, Islam would have conquered the whole World" . Omar laws are still intact in some parts of the world, these laws are called Omar Laws(as He R.A introduced them first). How can you deny the greatness of Omar R.A even if you are non-muslim. If you admire Alexander who burnt down cities, raped women, killed children then don't be a bigot or hypocrite and deny the greatness of Omar R.A.

Oh Omar, he who contributed to the Quran, alongside Allah (aka Mohammed)!
How dare Mohammed challenge “Mankind and the Jinn To Produce the Like of This Qur'an” when HE clearly wrote (at least) three parts of the Quran based upon suggestions from Omar!!?
It is reported by Annas, the Omar bin Al Khatab said: “My almighty agreed with me in three things:
(First), I said, 'Oh Allah's Apostle, I wish if [you would] take as your place of worship the place where Abraham did [have his] place to pray. It so came, the Divine Inspiration: (Qur'an 2:125) And take you (Muslims) the place of Abraham as a place of prayer.'
(Second), And I said to the Prophet, to the prophet of Allah, 'Good and bad ones talk to your wives, therefore order them to veil themselves!' So Allah sent down the concerning the veiling of the women (Qur’an 24:31).
(Third), the wives of the Prophet made a coalition against the Prophet, and I said to them, 'Maybe if his, the lord of the Prophet, divorced you, (all the wives) and exchange you with better wives than you.' So the verse revealed (Qur’an 66:5) the same as I had said.”
You can see the same story in Sahih Al-Bukhari (Book 8, Hadith 395).

The man who was executed in his own home by Umar's sword - the sentence was inevitable from the beginning; no reaching for a measured verdict based on reason and merits. Law based on a contract entered into before you were born: breach of which is sin of disobedience. This is what believers enslave inferiors and their own unworthy selves by, Animals too and women are separately created -wombs are our weapons, said Yasser Araffat.
Former muslim women rid themselves of modesty segregationist dress codes and the blameless whiteness of Mary the virgin who gave birth to a sinless child; must deal with pychological trauma to impossibly achieve living fully and completely in dignity and freedom. Interfaith connivance - ubiiquitous visibility and presence of Morality dress is in denial of brutality of hatred of unbelief, and that human rights are the legal expression of life
A code of: hate what Alah hates, love what Allah loves. is lifted from:'Jesus is my master'- war on infidels; the man's pride and arrogance is in party with Iblis. He would have sympathy with infidels - teach falsely intercession for them.

@@gloriascientiae7435 man only the sheep who just follow what they have heard believe in that .
How come I don't believe in that .
They are million of Muslim who don't believe in that .
And by the way how can this kind of teaching make even senses. If a person is really searching for truth they will find it on their own instead of relying on people . Reason why releigon is failing because we are not looking inward but looking in books

@harishkumar india imagine someone travelled trough a route and get to hea destination, now you wanting to go to the same place you ask the person for guidance to which he reply if you follow this way you will reach your destination but if you want also you can do as I did and find your way on your own untill you reach to where you going but at the end since everybody is looking for an easy way out they will follow his way and get to the destination but the experience is not the same as the one who travelled trough pain, and confusion that he went trough reason why the quran says
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried?
We certainly tested those before them. And ˹in this way˺ Allah will clearly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are liars
So I say to you the quran is just a book of guidance to those who want to use it and also it is a book of jikr reminding you that which you already know about, cause whatever in in the quran is already been said by the people of the past .
Nothing is new, the only difference is the time and the people to which it was revealed that time .
I'm not here expecting each one to be a Muslim or a christian or Hindu or budhist.
You have to find out yourself what you are more in alignment with instead of relying with label.
There have been many previous wise person's that came before us, people who spent their time meditating days and night just like Jesus , muhammad , budhas, lao-tzu , Osho, sadhguru , so on and so forth .
These people are teaching the same thing that all other previous wise people taught .
So again instead of painting fingers at other book or faith why don't you look within yourself and work on the evil that is harboring within your heart like envy jealousy hatred lust etc....
