Here in Germany we say "not too bad" when we are not really feeling fine, but we don't want to complain about it. It is a polite way to tell someone that you are not fine, but you don't want them to worry about you.
In NL we might reply with "Nou... mag niet klagen van de dokter". (= Well... the doctor tells me I can't complain) Well, ... OK that is a rare lame joke reply. Mostly if you'd greet someone with the american "Hi how are you doing today?" people would give you a blank stare not knowing what to say in reply. (Why... why do you want to know?) I guess AP has lived long enough in Germany to know that sense of the expression there. As an ex-Muslim myself, and a female, I only felt happiness once I left. I grew up not wanting to go to neither Heaven nor Hell. Hell is creepy, but Heaven is a... you know already. So no, I wasnt happy at all.
I grew up in a pretty diverse neighborhood in New Jersey: Jews, Italians, Chinese (1st generation and 2nd/3rd generation) and South Asians who were mostly Hindus but who could also be muslim, also could be 1st/2nd or 3rd generation. I got along pretty okay with all the Jewish and Italian kids, AND the Chinese and Indian 3rd generation kids who were pretty much fully Americanized. The Hindu kids who were the first in their families to speak English were the most timid, but they weren't unfriendly. The muslim kids were the most awkward and cold to talk to. They only kept to themselves and were never anywhere near as friendly as their Hindu counterparts who often spoke the same language as them. As a 10/13 year old in the US (not trying to sound mean), but you see a bunch of weird hats and the kids who wear them all come from similar places (India/Pakistan/Bangladesh) and you wonder why some are friendlier than others. Now this video explains a lot more.
Because they know you hate them, they're not fool! Indians are one of a kind! As a white American, I don't like Indians, the non-Muslim ones, you'll heart is black!
If Muslim dads truly were satisfied with their life, then there would be no need for them to beat their children, especially not their young daughters. This is very common, even here in Germany. All my Ex-Muslim friends and other Muslim ppl I met had a lot of experience when it comes to domestic violence. Side note: In other cultures this is a big issue too, that's for sure. But you can't deny the correlation.
I can relate to what you're saying, there's that saying I don't know if it's a hadith or what "الشكوى لغير الله مذلة" which roughly means complaining to other than Allah is humiliating, still, complaints are often heard in small chitchats, you hear it in the bus, at the place of work, university etc.. sometimes they complain about the west, sometimes they praise them, then they blame themselves for straying from the path of Islam. They also like to bring up how great Abbasid empire was. I swear I've heard those conversations at least hundreds of times.

I still remember watching an Israeli parody of an Israeli agent take control of an entire ship 🚢 which was filled with Muslims. The reporter found out that all the Muslims complained they were outnumbered. It was strange, but they explained that each of them were by themselves, and even though that looks ridiculous, it feels like maybe there is a reason for that. The Israeli special agent feels connected to his or her team back home, even if he or she was geographically and physically separated. Second, he was the one who used the term "slave." I may worship and adore Christ, but I am by no means His slave. A free man chooses, a slave obeys.
Thirdly, Islam's Allah is a sadistic monster concocted by a psychopath, a god who demands all creation bow in bondage to Muhammad's whims. Neither Allah nor Muhammad deserves obedience nor respect, let alone gratitude.

(Why... why do you want to know?) Would the German reply then be: 'nicht schlecht!'? Never heard that but I've mostly been in the south. A "He schon dich zu sehen, wi gehts?" usually was met with "Ja gut!..." Bavarian optimism? :)

I guess AP has lived long enough in Germany to know that sense of the expression there.

Related to this topic is a subject I hope AP discusses sometime in the near future. Muslims have an elitist sense of humour: they are unable to laugh at themselves, yet are quick to laugh at others. Case in point: I do accents - Irish, Italian, British, Mexican and Pakistani. In order to make people laugh, it’s necessary to exaggerate the accent and the accompanying body language. My friend Khalid, was enjoying my performance one evening, until I switched to the Pakistani accent and accompanying gestures. Boy did he get angry. He said I was making fun of Pakistanis/Muslims. I agreed. I said I made fun of my own culture and many others, so why should I make his an exception. His sister quickly saw the wisdom and told him to shut up and stop being so miserable. I shared this story with my Iranian friend who totally agreed with me, that’s why he left Islam
I have a friend who seem so unhappy each time she goes back to visit her parents because she is forced to follow the Muslim rules. In actual fact she us not following Islam. She just put on a facade for her parents to think she is a Muslim.

But even though the Muslims were outwardly together on the same ship 🚢/boat ⛵, they were probably socially isolated from each other, and that's kinda sad.

@@Србомбоница86 truth. My wife is from Serbia. She's orthodox, I'm a Dutch protestant. Islam points up a brother in the sky. Even in my town I see those women fully covered and it scared us, other ex muslims said its a prostitution dress so you won't recognise them
My thoughts are with you and your family. Hope your wife gets better soon

As per Tablighi Jamaat teachings it is said: "there is no happiness in life, only in death".
I met the tablig jammal people in Thailande. i want tell you that was i most bad experience in islam for me these people are horrible sad. anf fell very dangerous people. .
I second this...I have Muslim friends...they’re miserable...they’re always so amazed at my joyful optimistic outlook on life ...they ask me how ? Or why? And I say Jesus 🤷🏾♀️😂😂😂
Same here!
Delusion more like.🙄
Lmao and they always ask you not to make up stories about them and go around Lying as well 🤣🤣🤣

Well how can you be peaceful in this dictatorship kinda world huh?🤣
Good to see you again AP
islam means SUBMISSION.
How can one be happy when one submits to a false prophet.
If you google 10 most happiest countries there isn't one that's islamic. There is no happiest in islam.
" 'Islam' is derived from the Arabic word "sal'm" which literally means peace." Got that off the internet from multiple sources.
Notice how Christian majority countries aren't on there either. Or Israel, a Jewish state. Or Hindu majority countries. Your argument makes no sense.

Come on mate.
I can see through your Taqiyya.
@@vickidianacoghlan8946 That's literally not even what it means bc I practice my faith openly.
Taqiyya was a term used when Muslims were being persecuted or harassed for believing in Islam so some people had to practice Islam in secret. I'm not lying cuz I literally got that off the internet from multiple sources. If you're going to use the term to insult me at least use it correctly.
But ok dude whatever. You believe whatever the heck you want to believe. Whatever I say is not going to change that now is it?
.... Imagine not being able to respect someone's right to their beliefs

Be a man act like a man be serious that part hit me bad, yeah when there was no Muslim friends around my ex was really cheerful fun and very positive affectionate and carrying, all that stoped after making friends with muslims, was harsh but i get use to it so much that just before i left him he was so acting nice again that i would purposely drive him nuts to hear all the Hateful words again so i feel some authenticity. ( also be a man has very different definition to Muslims than Christians have or even atheist have)

Typical. Take sentences out of context. Only chance you guys have at saying bad about Islam.
The prophet Mohammed has said this many times,
an example is “Paradise and Hellfire were shown to me and I have never seen such good or evil as I have today. If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep often.”
