The immigration issue has been the topic for ages,so my is that everyone should try to understand their immigration route otherwise it has been like this for ever.personally I have been to uk for the last 15 years but things like shortage of staff and immigration changes are still the same,so just understand your immigration route and try to abide by it.deportation has been here everyday.its not something new.

Thats the problem with labours plan on training their own,example the nhs and social care sectors they are understaffed of healthcare workers for so many years,the labours want to train their own and yet theur locals doesnt want to study nursing,doctors,and other healthcare jobs

Migration has always been part of human existence and will continue to be.
English language and 'British Education' have somehow influenced intellectual quest for knowledge and return on investment, which means that people will always migrate to get them.
Those figures quoted are mostly legal migration statistic.
They should argue for and against migration, at least with that they can tell if migration is as bad as they make it appear in public domain.
Yes there are illegals in the country but I believe they're just a tiny fraction of legal immigrants in the UK.
Yes they should control their borders but migrants contribution to their economy should not be overlooked.

This is a selfish comment. Students pay thousands of pounds to be here. They also acquire high level qualifications. So they are as eligible to stay legally as every other immigrant on every other visa category.
