I saw Freiburger driving the Disgustang on the eastbound 134 freeway in Burbank about a month ago, the car looks pretty nice. Freiburger was going about 55MPH in the slow lane as I drove by.

Man I love that thing. The vanishing paint challenger was always one of my favorite roadkill cars, with its rims, its color, its engine and just the fact that it's an old challenger. Beautiful
That was a good example Freiburger set there by throwing those aftermarket points away but advising everyone else to return them to fix the problem.

Those leaf spring shave to go on the Vanishing Paint. It needs a three link or parallel four link with Panhard rod. Then see who experimented with front roll center and geometry in road racing for the front end.

I Did not want to like Roadkill, but I do, I prefer the projects that have purpose, would love to pick a handful of cars from Dulcich's farm and build them into proper street/drag cars! Amazed by Freiburger's driving talent, his timed runs are usually faster than the other host's!
Rember when dave and mike said they weren't going to sell out, Ive been watching roadkill since the start It sucks that they were with motortrend.

Just curious.
Wouldn’t surprise me if their camera and sound crew had a Dave or a Steve in there. Last names are a lot more unique then first names, so when using last names, you know exactly who’s talking to who.

Eurathane bushes? Those Mopars crack the top wishbone brackets often. And the eurathane does not bond to sleeves so you end up with full floating top wishbones.
Those caster arms will work fine BUT they throw a lot more load into the chassis pickups.
28 spline axles? Some OEM Ford ones were plastic. But otherwise 28splines are fine anything except drag racing. Though in that car would not be a problem.
160deg? Way too cold, pistons rock on every stroke and ring gaps are too big. 185 mininum, 200 better but starting to get borderline.
Where does the 35 spline third member come from .
Probably a Wavetrac. I just wonder why they opted to compromise on bearing strength in favor of bigger axles, seems like factory-style (and more readily available) 31 spline axles would be adequate and not require the weaker bearing. To each his own I guess!

I actually just did the free trial for on demand and binge watched roadkill garage and honestly at 5 bucks a month I think it will be worth it. Might try it now. I was totally against it when they first did it.

Motor Trend is owned by Discovery now, so that's probably not going to happen.
youtube has millions of car channels. and tons of very very good ones. tv stations have only a small handful of car stations. and on those stations only a very small amount are entertaining to watch. they are getting better when it comes to satalite tv and cable. but its still limited on tv. so i dont think we should be asking to take great things away from TV. especially since they are still uploading the videos to youtube to watch.
@@husseymangtv Discovery has already rebranded the Velocity Channel (TV channel) to the Motor Trend Network. They have been airing Motor Trend originals, such as Roadkill, on TV. Likewise, they have brought a lot of their vehicle related content to Motor Trend on Demand.
Motor Trend's channel is now just an advertisement platform, to entice people to subscribe to Motor Trend Premium. Have a look at Discovery's TH-cam channel. It's the same thing. Lots of clips from shows, with a few full episodes sprinkled throughout.

When you see a commercial for Netflix do you think that's all there is to see and I've seen this commercial before so why pay for it? Is a movie trailer good enough for you? Doesn't make much sense. If it's something you don't want to watch or can't afford, don't buy it. But there's no reason to belittle people who do.

These guys should fix the cars into cheaply restored autos(finishing bodywork, painting, restore reliability, interior work, decent wheels/tires etc.) It always looks like they just drove out of the JUNK YARD. They need to respect the old muscle/supercars enough to make them look presentable.

Motor tend sucks. I loved roadkill and looked forward to the videos. They couldn't have that. I'll find other shows and have. They tried to leverage a successful show and all they did was lose fans.
100%!! I am missing nothing. Cleet, fasterproms, boosted boys, vicegrip garage and on and on. This is why so many were against them leaving but such is life. When they come back, I will watch again.
