My experience as a mechanic. "If we can just slide this back we can do this and we won't have to take this off and so we'll be able to do that" 45 min later "just take it off and pull it out". And that's 99.9999% of the time. 😆

I got stopped by a cop right there about 20 years ago coming on to LVblvd south of the airport from the side street and didn't come to a complete stop to beat the line of cars coming and as soon as I turned there's a cop facing me & pointing his hands angrily to the side. I overheard some discussion about "oh yes, they'll find that when he goes in to DMV" because I guess they interconnected and found my old unpaid ticket from another state the weekend before I moved but they missed the 1/4lb of Crappy Herb in the cereal box on my passenger floor that I threw my hoodie over! */w\TMFR/w\*

@@ricardofierro7041 Oooops, hey I just noticed ur name, did you invent the Fiero, I apologize, the speakers in the seats were cool at the time and I love Pontiac's. I just meant that factory is known for putting in the cheapest speakers for mass production and I doubt they're exactly high fidelity audiophile grade or anything.
I just recognized the guy they are working with. He was on an episode of Big muscle with mike musto, quite a few years back with his Dodge Dart

If you didn't have the converter seated and the transmission was installed the pump is shattered

Even if that converter wasn’t seated fully and that 60e was bolted to the block, that would have trashed the pump. Learned from experience lol.

I saw a guy that bought a burnt out C3 shell and basically just ended up with the chassis rails under the body that was still good material and bought all new fibreglass and bonded it in and built in up into a ZL1 powered vintage racecar.. But you would never know that it was fibreglass popcorn once upon a time!

Fin's vett. Reminds me of the RX 7 build that Nelson racing did years ago. They couldn't see squat when ever that stabbed the gas. But the RX was 1600 hp.

All I can think is that car hadn't moved under its own power in 30 years yet they just put a transmission in it did some plumbing and wiring and immediately thrashed on it. At least take it on a highway run and drive it around town a bit to get the motor and transmission loosened up a bit first..

vegas cops are pretty chill for the most part strip though is pretty low tolerance for any fun times as a 5 year resident with crazy cars as well
