- Today I surprised Barista @dritanalsela and his guests at his Café in Düsseldorf, Germany.
But while I was playing piano, I didn't expect that 2 opera singers would join me !! 🤯

Actual music is great. I am sick of these young American and korean rappers who just like to say words without meanings, or sometimes they avoid pronouncing letters in the words and spending the whole song talking about sex and a woman cheating on her bf for them.
I've seen La Traviata a million or so times, and never enjoyed the lead singers more than these two. They make the famous stars look hopelessly jaded!
Bringing opera to the masses and dispelling any myths that opera is boring. I’m sure more people will be interested in going to see opera at the theatre, I certainly am.😊❤

Well, there was a time when Piano Bars were a staple. I met my first wife at a piano bar/restaurant she was playing. We performed together for eight years and often inspired spontaneous joining in or requests to sing. She would most often already know the tune or have them sing a few bars and instantly carry it through to the end.

For some reason watching someone unplanned start singing with casual live music always makes my eyes watery. It’s a spontaneous act of kindness when the musician reaches out to people’s heart and the singer responses. Beautiful conversation of 2 souls…🥰

Every time I hear a tenor like this I think of my grandfather Angelo Rossi. He worked on the railroad for 60+ years pounding stakes into the rails. But he was born with this type of operatic voice. I used to listen to him sing for hours as a boy. ( usually at the gin mill 😂😂 ) Thank you for bringing back this memory!! ❤️
