This song from Verdi describes the womas as a mobile creature ..having a light face her laugh and cry are fake .she has no axcent nor thougt ... alwais miserable whom thrusts her with his incautios heart . But won't feel totaly appagated ...whom...on that chest dont fond love ...
The song is about the ficklenes of women, but the irony is that the male lead (singing) is the fickle one.
