So, will you be getting rid of your Legend classic? Can it even get this juicy? Dr. Evans is hurting that poor organ. lol. I'd love to here him on the traditional Hammod too
Hey Bishop, l've been watching your videos for a while now and really admire your setup and playing! I recently purchased a Leslie 3300 to pair with my Viscount Legend Live, and I'm excited to see how it will sound together when it comes in. Do you have any advice on getting the best tone or settings with this combination? And which method do you find most convenient to transport your leslie? because i read that this joker is 120 pounds! I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for all the inspiration!
@@braxtonjackson_ Great to hear that you are getting the 3300. It's a great speaker. Where did you purchase it? As for the settings on the speaker itself, I always turn the tube preamp on the 3300 to the off position. You can use those settings on the Legend. Then set the Eq dials to 12 o'clock, and the volume for the horn(driver) to 1 or 2 o'clock. Your Legend volume should be set at 3 or 5 o'clock. You will get good volume from these settings. Eq your sound using the eq dials on the Legend. Goodluck ✨️
👍 Great purchase! First turn the tube driver dials to the off position. Then turn the bass, mid, treble and the horn dials to the 12 o'clock position. Pull out all drawbars to the open position, then adjust the treble to your liking. Remember the horn dial also affects the treble. I run my 3300 based on what music I'm playing, but normally I run everything but the tube driver at 12 o'clock. I keep tge tube driver off because my Organ also has a tube effect on it. Have fun. Please keep us in the loop🎉
Just adjust the tube driver dial on the 3300 to your liking. I keep mind turned off. The 3300 is a true 300 watt Leslie speaker. Enjoy!@@hammondboybennett1580

Sounds good. If I close my eyes, I would think it’s a Hammond B3.
That’s a bad man. Sheesh. I wish there was a midi so I could “borrow” one or two notes 😂
Yes he is!!

I’m about to purchase a Leslie 3300 I don’t have a Viscount but I have a Nord C1 combo organ. Any advice how I could set the Leslie?

@@SacredMediaOne thank you Bishop! What if I doesn’t have a tube effect I don’t recall the Nord C1 having a tube effect on it I could be wrong.
