  • Health officials are puzzled about the increasing number of cases of invasive Strep A, where the bacteria enters parts of the body where it doesn't normally go, including the bloodstream, muscles and organs. The invasive form of Strep A causes serious infections - the most severe of which are flesh-eating disease and streptococcal toxic shock syndrome.

I got really sick about 6 years ago. Thought I had strep throat. Couldn't swallow, my throat itself swelled significantly, and at one point, I had to manually lift my head off the pillow. I know something was very very wrong. I went to several doctors, even my own gp, and it wasn't until I walked myself back to my dr at my wits end, did they realise what I had, invasive g.a.s. I was green lit and told that I was dying and that I needed emergency surgery immediately. The infection had spread to my lymph nodes. Thankful for my surgeon and for their swiftness.

Same thing happened to me when I was 18. I had Toxic shock from Group A strep throat. I was prescribed the Z pack antibiotic but it was not effective. About a week after finishing the antibiotic I had SEVERE stomach pain luckily my mom called an ambulance I ended up having emergency surgery the surgeon removed 2 liters of poison from my stomach, I had a heart attack (myocarditis) kidney failure and pneumonia after the surgery. I lost all the skin on my hands and feet, the skin completely peeled off while I was in the icu. My heart function dropped to 5 percent during surgery but I made a full recovery. My case was very rare and it is documented in several infectious disease case study books. 🙏

Many reasons i'm sure. But no one dares to point at the elephant! Imigration is the cause of a rise in these disease! They come from countrys were hospitals isn't so good, and hygiene is bad!
