Kmcdon3 You can't get the cooled seats in any of the Camrys, and if you sit in both you will notice the interior space difference. The Avalon is just a bigger car.
@@ericd.4460 But is the seat as comfortable on a long trip? I'm finding the newer Lexus seats much harder after 3+ hours compared to my old Lexus without ventilated seats, seems it has taken away from the depth of foam used, so looking at Toyota instead for newer car without vented seats.
@@MusicConnoisseurian I keep reading the reviews by people who have the Avalon Limited trim and they specifically say that there is no trip fatigue, that the seats are excellent. I've mainly been reading the owner reviews on cars.com and Edmunds.

I own a 2012 Avalon premium with 95000 miles on it. Zero defect. Just the usual replacements, Tires, Battery, Oil and flter. Love the ride.

REALLY liking this new Avalon. I have a 2014 GS, and honestly this looks like a suitable replacement. I love the styling and the features they're cramming into the higher trim levels.

Very helpful information. Up here in Canada, there are no more 2019 Camry XSE V6 so I am having to look at the Avalon. I am trying to avoid the turbo vehicles that are now being forced onto potential buyers.

2019 Avalon comes with Amazon Alexa.....one of the finest technology so far by Toyota .
It only comes with apple car play not android. Reason because android would like have all the info of the customer once there phone is connected but Apple don’t. Due to security reason Toyota decided going forward with Apple.
So far Touring is one of the best and if I am not wrong it comes with dynamic suspension. It means suspension will adjust/ work as per the condition of the road.
Very Luxurious Sedan.
Nice job on the video, I like the console very sleek and luxurious looking. Not crazy about the display, like the size of the screen but it looks out of place and kinda bulky I would expect that to be flush. Steering wheel in limited is nice, love the turning signals and the idea of the camera in the front. Im on the fence with the new body style but I love my 2014 xle touring, and still get compliments on it frequently. I'll be due for service soon so I plan on checking it out in person. 👍✌

The Kendi Show few differences, different headlights, taillights, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, active variable suspension (touring only model to have this feature) sport S+ mode and a custom mode, also can get the technology package that has 360 degree cameras
I briefly looked at it because I do like the exterior look, but you get a choice of black or grey interior and I hate them both so happily went back to the Limited.
I need a 2020/2021 Black Avalon Touring edition with a moonroof. Speaking it into existence. Blessed
My 2021 Avalon XLE in Supersonic red was delivered last week. Although this review is two years old and covers MY 2019, it was still pertinent for my needs, and I watched this video numerous times in order to decide on trim level. Thanks Jeff!
How did you order? I tried ordering online but after the build it prompted me to contact a dealer.
@@S.Booker:The 2021 was pulled from a dealership two hours away. They were selling fast and I got this one I think, because of the color. I don't think Supersonic Red is popular with Avalon buyers. Since then, I have traded it for a new 2022 Avalon Limited in black/black. I basically watched the dealer's website every single day. When I saw this one was in transit, I inquired about it, made the deal, paid a deposit and it was marked sold to me.

@@S.Booker Absolutely...Opulent Amber is the best color period, and if I had my choice of any Avalon before me, that would be it. Speaking from experience, go with the Limited trim if you can...
I'm in Love with this car I was disappointed with the design of 2013 but now I'm again in Love I'd like to buy one ASAP, OWNER OF 2008 WHITE PEARL LIMITED till now & 2006 XLE (crashed in 2007)

Spring stiffness, for example, is increased 25 percent when comparing XLE to Limited; stabilizer bar stiffness is up 20 percent and 86 percent, front and rear, respectively, when progressing from XLE to XSE. Go for XLE for comfort. No Intake Sound Generator (ISG) or Active Noise Control (ANC), and Engine Sound Enhancement (ESE).
I really like the touring more. Better grill and color accents. And has the same features as the limited. I think it’s cheaper to?

There's the 18" wheels on the limited vs. the 19" on the touring. You will be able to feel the 19" inch wheels in the ride regardless of the suspension.
Thank you so much for the in depth review of all the models. Now in 2023 I’m looking to buy a Avalon but I want the limited hybrid model..Really love the car, but Toyota will not build a newer Avalon next year. I’ll be looking for a bargain 2020 or 2021.

I love Toyota Avalon. I have Toyota Avalon xle. It’s great car. I used 3 years with 95000 miles now. I am still using same tire too. Nothing problem with car. The worst thing was my drivers side window crashed and broke it self and Toyota delar did not warrant it.
I really want a limited hybrid Avalon later on

I think that's gonna be a tough decision for a lot of people....whether to go with a higher trim level Camry or an Avalon.....pros and cons with both forks in the road....have a great week coming up! Jeff
I had a Camry then bought a 2013?Avalon later. No comparison. Two totally different cars. Much heavier, luxury, updated Technology, even the wipers and doorsare three times heavier and has an alarm. Three phone chargers, lights everywhere, heated seats, three modes-Eco, Regular and Sports, many helpful gadgets, much roomier than the Camry, longer seatbelts, great defrost system, bluetooth, backup camera, etc etc etc, low maintenance. Best car ever for me. Same quality as Lexus except for maybe a wood panel but cheaper tax and uses regular gas. I will buy another Avalon.

Thug9030 There is a little in the Touring and Limited, but it isn't what we normally think of as ambient lighting. It's just in the cup holders and interior door handles.

I’m waiting to see if the TRD Edition Avalon is going to be produced. If not, that pretty little red Touring will do just fine. I own a 07 black Limited, 0 problems with it, love the power, & the JBL surround system. Have almost 280K on it, took me from Florida, to Utah, it took me to Las Vegas, & brought me back home with no problems at all. Definitely will consider a brand new one even if I pay a pretty penny for it. A TRD Edition is the one I want most though

10 years ago my car got into a accident I'm a female I knew nothing about cars my mom gave me $13,000 go buy a car I end up pulling up at some mechanic shop they had a couple cars out there for sale. The only let me take a drive in my Toyota XL he owned Alexis he told me that if he would have known any better he would have got a Toyota Avalon that it drives better than is Lexus I can get a Lexus or Mercedes if I want I still choosing a Toyota Avalon they drive like luxury

I will be keeping my 2018 Limited because of the electronic parking and display screen on the 2019 model is not something I would want.

I love the tail lights, head lights, speakers, everything except the grill. The grill looks like an open mouth, no extend frost light. I would suggest Toyota change grill shape in 2020.
Go limited all the way. I own a 2011 only 50k miles and the car is a dream to drive
Power folding side mirrors for all trims?
NC Vman and Sam No power folding mirrors or rear sunshade on any of them, but you can get the heated steering wheel on the limited and touring.

The Camry Avalon and Es all share the same chassis. The Camry didnt come with Apple CarPlay update. Also no heated rear seats or USB ports in the back. Driving dynamics on all the cars from Toyota to Lexus Es drives about the same. The Fsport that will probably be almost 10 to 15 grand more than. The touring model of the Avalon. Doesn't come with heated rear seats. 3 model of cars that are all the same just different features.

M ' BAKU yes but the touring has the adaptive suspension that makes a big difference when it comes to ride quality. I wish they would come out with a 2 door xse either camry or avalon similar to the solara they once made.

When they sale car they said it has warranty bumper to bumper which window are included. But it didn’t have warranty for windows after my Toyota Avalons window broke. It’s the only only disappoint to me.

Thanks for the videos Jeff. Curious if you or anyone knows about the differences in the tail lights between the 2019 XLE and the Limited. The inner tail lights on the XLE do nothing (as far as I can tell), they're just for decoration. I noticed this on mine the other day and thought bulbs were out or not working. Looking at the videos, that's the design. I looked into the parts on the Toyota website and they don't seem to show any difference though there is different part numbers, all have the same diagram and they are the same price. I also looked behind the cover on the trunk lid, and my XLE has the wire running into the inner tail light. Is the only difference in these assemblies is one has bulbs/modules/ballasts and the other doesn't? Or is there programming that is different? Seems like a silly thing to do differently between the models. Don't understand why the assemblies with have the same price either.
Which is better in your opinion Jeff?
2019 Avalon Xse and Se or 2018 Camry Xse and the Se.
I like having leather seats and standard blind spot monitor, so I'll go with the Camry XSE. Although, I can add the blind spot monitor and then have my dealership install leather seats, so I could go with a pimped-out SE and I'd still be at a lower price than the XSE....tough call. I love the Avalon XSE so I'll pick that one straight-up! Great questions! How about you? Jeff

Speaking of the Camry, that vehicle is direct competitors with the Accord.

It look really good with good stuff. But the grill is too much, but I think I can cover it custom.
