My new fishing channel. Happy to see a channel that's not all about kissing the rear of. Other TH-cam's or over promotion on products. I'm here for fishing and that's what you provide. Thanks man
I used to love to fish for snook at night around bridges and also on the beaches. Sarasota has some great night time spots. Now I live by the Chesapeake Bay and still fish at night but not for snook.
Madeleine seriously rocked this meal, and presented it beautifully! I'm hungry, always a sign I've watched something great being made! Glad you two are safe and sound. Have a wonderful week you two!
Yes, on all counts! Bridges reminiscent of crappie fishing at night, grits for the southern soul, fresh catch. To live in any state that touches the sea is a gift! (Also... corn!!)
Night fishing is a totally awesome experience! You'll see things you never see in the daytime, like when the water glows with phosphorescence. Magical! 😊
Night fishing is ALWAYS about lights…go find lights on the water…you’ll find bait….and predators. Fishing under a dark bridge with only your light that you brought isn’t really it. Love the channel. FIND THE LIGHTS AT NIGHT. 🎣🤙🏻🍻 Bridges with good lights at night are fantastic.
I haven't had watched in a while. Not since the original Waterman was on. TH-cam just hasn't stuck one in the feed. This Waterman seems pretty good. Much like on Roseanne when they switched Beckys but eventually brought back the original Becky. Maybe the original Waterman will return someday. I saved this video under recipes. That cheese grits, roasted corn and snapper looked so good.
Man, I really dont think i could say anything better, all your fans said everything i would have said +++ we use to hang those lanterns as well for large gator trout and snook until tbe bridge tender and fish and game ran us off. Loved the nautical serving spoon and the recipe as well! ! ! Loved it as always, you always give us the enthusiasm to go after watching your channel. Thankyou both!!!!!
Fresh and simple is the key to culinary enlightenment that will broaden your horizons in so many ways. Nutritionally, a gift of mother earth, the life of the fish, ancestral heritage, relaxing meditational thought passed on to you from the fish's protein, peace and happiness out on the water, making peace and communicating with the maker, security and ability to harvest your own sustenance, and the satisfaction of knowing you are a steward of the land and water, passing on responsible natural resources to the next generation. Thank ya'll for all that you do to benefit all of us on a daily basis. Knowledge is power. Wisdom divine. 😁
2 minutes in and i like this already!!!!! Cool idea to take us night fishing!!! I used to do sime commercial fishing for mullets spots and flounder at night 🌙!!!!! Night fishing is totally different
I usually bring up about 20 small grunts before I bring one good mango up from the bridges. Not easy being cheesy, that looked gooood. I’ll try to come to the boat show and say hello to my favorite TH-camr 🤘🏼God bless
I’ve learned from fishing the bridges in the keys that not everyday is the same. I have stayed overnight multiple times at different bridges and the bite is different depending on currents, moon and water temperatures.
I’ve truly enjoyed every single CCC y’all have done. I won’t lie though. I’m a huge fan of grits and I gotta say. This CCC had my mouth watering more than any of the others. All the ingredients yall chose were absolutely perfect and I would have loved to enjoy a bowl. Keep up the great content. PS got your brain and bleed hoodie and absolutely love it.
Measure the butter with your hardening heart and arteries! I love to see you two (Madeline) cooking southern. Looks delicious. And thanks for the night and day fishing comparison.
Up on the west coast of Florida Taylor county where are place is, mullet and grits actually anything and cheese grits is the bomb. We use velveta cheese.
Fish + Grits + Fresh Tomatoes was the staple I grew up with in South Carolina . . . Dessert??? Was always a slice of “white bread” with “Cane Patch Syrup” on it. Thanks for the memories!!!
Yes the way Madeleine made the grits looked real yummy and l am not much of a grit eater. Fishing was not wild but you caught what you needed cool and liked the way you showed how well you cleaned your fishing equipment great example!
Great job!! Those Mangroves were awesome size and cooked! I was surprised there were no Sheepheads around the bridge structure, anyway looked delicious!!
I was staying at little torch key couple of months ago and thought I saw your boat cruise by and go under that bridge there, it was at night and there were couple other boats. I took my daughter there and was disappointed at the lack of fish. Titusville, Fla
love your videos. Always gives me the fishing bug even if its just catching some mangroves. Thanks for showing absolute failures too...that happens more times than i'd like to admit. Marsh hen mill is out of Edisto SC! They are the best!
I live in Huntsville, AL. I've never seen Grits look that good. I now have the Confidnce to make them myself. I love smoked Gouda. I'm going to Publix today!
Jack, I'm glad to see a video come out from you. Your last video with JJ seamd like you were having fun I'm sorry you lost your friend I know what it's like Unfortunately i've lost a few But I'm glad to see you.Drop it videos again
Hey M, you need to cook a lot more on the channel, get the southern cooking vibe going. That fish and those grits looked amazing and I liked the addition of the sautéed onions.
Aaron not all the way thru the video yet. Appreciate you and Madeline.i would be a little star struck if we were to meet. Best of luck on the coming videos.
Next time with the grits do it the same way but toast some Jalapeños in the air fryer or grill with the corn and chop them up to mix in the grits. I used to make smoke gouda and Jalapeño grits. So good but can't eat that stuff anymore. 😂
There's nothing like a big bowl of creamy cheese grits. Add some blacken mangrove snapper, just puts it over the top! I like to use broth in place of the water. Adds to the flavor!
Been watching for a while! Hope to see you at the boat show in ft laudy. I’ll be assisting with the catering there, and if I spot you it’ll be a pleasure!
12 midnight and here i am again . A northern boy with southern tastebuds suffering through a bowl of chilli . I can’t wait to retire and live off of fish for 4 months of the year .
I work during sunlight so ive soent a lot of time night fishing this year. Looks like you're targeting the right spots but throw some bigger bloodier baits , half a horse mullet has been my chicken dinner lately. I also target areas right beyond any lights i can find.
@Key West Waterman for night fishing you gotta fish the dredged out channel that's in line with the boat ramp to the west go out to where the current is running a little get some chum going and they'll bite
I dove that bridge while I was down visiting. Tiny snapper to keeper snapper ratio was worse than what you were catching ! Poor visibility and current was more than I could overcome my third time ever spearfishing. Grits and grunts is how Key West survived the Great Depression. Honestly I think they survived in style ! Blacked/grilled fish over slow cook grits is mighty fine eating imo. Fried with grits is good also. Stirring in the Gouda goodness is the chefs kiss 😘 skip the quick grits. Quick grits lack the rich flavor of old fashioned slow cook grits.
Lmao!!! Eating grits with a fork bro!!! Really??? Mandolin got a spoon 🥄 Yeah she knows how to make da grits and how to eat-um farso! That’s my favorite also! Fish and cheesy grits … I gotta try adding some grilled corn! Looks delicious! Great video brother! Thank you, 🕷️
Hello Aron, I’m a big fan my name is dorian I’ve been diving and fishing since I was about eight years old I’m now 64 i’ve dove and fished Key West, the Marquesas and the joy tortillas hundreds of times. I was watching your episode on night fishing. I could help you out a little bit that light on your head pointing at the water while you’re fishing is a big no-no any big fish in the area will leave immediately. I fish channel 5 bridge all the time with the right tide , tons of big snook big mango snappers every time I fish the bridge point in the water I try to educate them. You have to be stealthy to get the big ones. Good luck to you. Keep up the good work.
Feeding the cat fish scraps brought back memories of me and my grandad cleaning fish back in the early 80s. We had a wild cat on the farm we would feed and speckled trout was her favorite
When I fish around a bridge like that I use a trolling motor. I noticed I normally don't see those types of trolling motors on salt water boats. Just wondering why as they seem useful in certain situations? Now I'm going to have to figure out how to make grits as those looked really good.
The night fishing reminded me of being a kid and snook fishing with my dad under bridges with a lantern. Very nostalgic.
Or dock fishing with all the docks with lights they held a ton of fish
My new fishing channel. Happy to see a channel that's not all about kissing the rear of. Other TH-cam's or over promotion on products. I'm here for fishing and that's what you provide.
Thanks man
I used to love to fish for snook at night around bridges and also on the beaches. Sarasota has some great night time spots. Now I live by the Chesapeake Bay and still fish at night but not for snook.
Except you never caught a snook Jacob 😂 😉 🎣
Watch you all the time you remind me of my cousin that passed a few years ago. You are just like him brings back good memories
Madeleine seriously rocked this meal, and presented it beautifully! I'm hungry, always a sign I've watched something great being made! Glad you two are safe and sound. Have a wonderful week you two!
she sure did!
Magical! 😊
Man, nothing better then sharing a meal that was completed by two in love. Thanks for sharing a beautiful moment in your lives.
She's definitely a cook. My mother never measured anything just by taste and feel she cooked. Awesome meal!
Dropped everything I was doing to watch. Always quality
love to hear it!

Aaron, I am literally sitting here eating my dinner and that meal made me drool!! Thanks Madeline, that will be our next fish dish!!! 😊
My favorite type of fishing … mangroves on light tackle! One of the funnest and challenging fish to catch. Great vid!
Measure with your heart, thats best way I have ever heard it said. Another great video, thanks for posting.

Nice Mangroves.👌🐟🐟
Appreciate it!
We retired to Missouri from Central California a year and a half ago. Miss the fish so much.

Great vid. If you catch a snook try smoking it. Not sure if you have a smoker. Try it with some of that mango salsa mix you made once. Stay well.

It’s going grate!!! Thanks for asking.
How’s it going for you?

Living the dream!
Low Barometer from Oscar and Cold front; that's why spearfishing works so well!
You guys are awesome!
I dove that bridge while I was down visiting. Tiny snapper to keeper snapper ratio was worse than what you were catching ! Poor visibility and current was more than I could overcome my third time ever spearfishing.

Hello Aron,
I’m a big fan my name is dorian I’ve been diving and fishing since I was about eight years old I’m now 64 i’ve dove and fished Key West, the Marquesas and the joy tortillas hundreds of times.

Also try fishing with the solunar tired . The minor and major
Love the air fryer hate the expensive fan over the stove, this California boy likes his grits with butter and sugar!
Feeding the cat fish scraps brought back memories of me and my grandad cleaning fish back in the early 80s. We had a wild cat on the farm we would feed and speckled trout was her favorite
thats what its all about! glad you enjoyed it
Aaron, where will you boot be at the boat show? Will you be inside the convention center or at the Bahia Mar tents?
Try using a light pointed at the water or underwater lights
And Madeline didn’t bother w a measuring cup for the grits. 😊 Happy Monday Frens!
haha she never does
Anything mangrove is good!
Goliath grouper seem prolific now. Do you ever think they'll open a season on them in the future?
When would be the best time to come over to your booth for the boat show? Big fan!!!!
When I fish around a bridge like that I use a trolling motor. I noticed I normally don't see those types of trolling motors on salt water boats. Just wondering why as they seem useful in certain situations? Now
I'm going to have to figure out how to make grits as those looked really good.
Need more current and we fish in front of the bridge. When we go to summerlin key.
the look on your face when you hooked the tarpon
