Please note Walmart is still in stock with Starwars trash comp & Yoda training. Both retired / sold out at Lego in December but still available at Walmart as of April 2
Lego salvages Lego exclusives to Amazon and Walmart. Sometimes the sets will be on the sites for YEARS for BELOW retail. I think Lego also sells to liquidation companies because I've seen sets in my local liquidation store and in odd random websites.
That's not true. San Francisco was in stock on Amazon for 6 months after retirement and has consistently had an Amazon sales rank of less than 10k. Meaning... It flies off the shelves. Oversupply is the cause here, not lack of demand
Not sure if it's zombie stock but similar sets like technic 42123 Mclaren flat lined so far 4 months after retirement as well as Tokyo Architecture barely starting to increase in price nearly a year and a half after retirement. Minecraft 21174 Modern Treehouse similar still available at msrp more than a year after retirement.
@@BrickBucks in Germany this set has everyone and the price still not rising... the biggest merchand of that set is still full of stock for a longer time....

I'm starting to think lego wholesales retired sets to amazon...
They do salvage Lego exclusives to Amazon and Walmart. Sometimes the sets will be on the sites for YEARS.

Does your ROI model factor in storage costs and time value of money?
storage costs yes, time value of money no
Amazon doesn't have 'extra stock', it's the stock they started with; no one was/is buying the product.
that's false
I've had high hopes for the 21188 MC Llama Village set but Amazon has been crushing that hope daily for months.
Are Ninjago 4+ sets good investments? I found a good deal on the and I bought a whole bunch
if you’re still seeing them i stores months after retirement it just isn’t a sought after product

I have some zombie sets like 41721. Its going still for 30% off on amazon... I have a lot of it. I think I will take 2-4 years to sell them...
Shane, i keep trying to tilt my phone because im not used to you being on the other side haha it’s messing up my equilibrium 😂😂
haha yeah, new setup and it has thrown everything off balance :D
Man I doubled my money on the Mandalorian battle pack but it was a long hold

My worst investments atm are: 75342 republic fighter tank, 41721 and new ship of guardians of the galaxy...
republic fighter is doing great on Amazon US - surprised to see that as a worst investment

Yep in Germany it’s bad. Basicly every set which went eol 23 is still in stock. They overproduced this year.
@@100Creed New ship of guardians you get still 50% off. Wtf
@@c.5701 yeah glad I don’t invest in it at all! Such a flopp! I only invest in Star Wars and Modular’s. Everything else is just not solid anymore.
its all absed on the floor price it was available in the market, buy bottom of market you;ll always be fine
