Still not sure on BTS. I think to invest in it you HAVE to get it for that 50% off price that Walmart (with Amazon price matching) have done a few times over the holidays. I generally know that some of the band members are doing their military service but I don't know what the chances are that they get back together after that is all done. If they do, I think it can be a good investment, but it might be a longer hold. I agree with you on the Typewriter. I have seen some talk about it in investment communities but, as you like to say, talk does not always equal action, ESPECIALLY at the price point of this set. There is the Polaroid camera currently on sale and a Retro Radio coming, that kind of make this a collectible series too.
9:50 could the tumblers be compared to the play scale death stars. Both sets were rereleased in a similar way with a price increase and the newer Death Star of the two is now much more expensive than the first
it depends on the price of the set. Low priced sets, I would buy hundreds. High priced sets, less. I think more about the dollar amount that I want to invest in the set, as opposed to quantity of the set, because it can vary a lot depending on the set cost
@@BrickBucks in the US people underpay for sets during their lifetime and then overpay once they’re retired. the mind truly boggles, but right now the secondary market in europe is pretty much kaput. Tokyo goes for 70-ish on vinted … if that.
@@georgeleorgebeorge2354 a quick glance at recent sales on eBay France seems to show many sales at 85-95 EUR. If you bought at 20% off, you should be doing OK at that point (especially if you get even better deals). What am I missing?
@@BrickBucks take off the fees off of those ebay sold listings and you basically get what i’m quoting from vinted (no seller fees). It’s nothing face melting, compared to other performers.
@@BrickBucks Yeah i thought so. I just found it interesting how so much can change in short time. You mentioned a lot of the viewers might allready have a lot of them. And I found it funny to imagine their faces when they found out it doesn’t retire 😂👌🏻

I'd really love some timestamps on your videos so I can quickly get to the series that I like.
Happy for you to take the video down to prevent overhyping of the underhyped sets😅
What are your thoughts on the US AT-AT? Is it worth picking u pa couple, or should I invest in other sets?
I already have the 4 different LOR BrickHeadz 10 of each, bought with GWP sold them and in the end, end up paying 12.39 each ;)
I have never seen Singapore on sale and I keep looking lol
For amazing sets like Tree House I don't really care how they'll develop after EOL; I'd happily sell it but also love to build it.

Luckily only got one discounted vader helmet and one tree house for personal collection
Where’s a good place to be alerted when deals happen?
How many of these sets would you buy?

I purchased 10x BTS last year on sale at $30 from Walmart. Thought is was worth a small gamble.
What is the tracking tool you are using to see pricing/selling trends?
NM, I heard you say during vid :)
Your videos are amazing! Thank you Shane
The Tokyo skyline did badly so far here in Europe. I see no reason why Singapore would do better.
In the US Tokyo is doing well

Great mate - really interesting !! Have an awesome day!💥From Fun At Home (Hot Wheels, Lego, Cards, Stamps & collectables)☮
On the typewriter, couldn't someone buy a real vintage typewriter for $100?
No, unless it's junk. Some higher end typewriters in good working condition can sell in the low thousands.
Besides it would not be made of Lego ! ... That's the whole point...
ford is not a supercar
🎩👍🏽
LOL BTS 😂
Yep, BTS. One of the biggest bands in the world, with a fan base that are hungry for merch and branded items
do the opposite of this guy, thank me later
Would love to hear your reasoning :)
What do you suggest we should invest in?
