Sold one bulk (all 11) after holding 1.5 years at 65% roi. Now I've supplemented the remaining helmets with some of the profit and intend to sell in bulk again once it reaches at least 60% roi. Compounding. Greetings from Poland!
I don't like to sell in bulk, because people buying something as a bundle are typically looking for discounts. I rather sell individually at full price
@@BrickBucks thanks. In this case there was actually a ca. 20% premium vs individual resell, plus all went down in one shot what saved me time. But I hear you, you have much more experience and maybe I was simply lucky.
Funny about the timing of this video, I just decided this week that I'm giving up on the helmets 😅 I'm just keeping a couple of Boush helmets, and that's it.
Idk. I like the ability to have a complete set of something. If there were like 30 helmets/busts I think most people would say they don’t need to collect them all and just pick and choose certain ones diminishing the value of many of them. Do people want dark trooper more because they are huge dark trooper fans? Or because it’s part of the “set”? releasing more would end the set appeal.
Hello 👋, in your professional opinion if purchased at full MSRP, I found at Walgreens for $21 they have weird prices.. they sometime will charge slightly more then MSRP. Will the baby Yoda brickhead keep going up even though the market is flooded.. brick economy has it expecting $30 in the near future. But it’s just so hard to pass a retired set when walking down the store.
I got 3 new Star Wars sets for free. The Red Luke Helmet, The Justifier & The Attack on Ferrix. I don’t have space to start reselling professionally but do you think I should sell them now or keep them in the closet to sell down the line? Love your videos!
I don’t think so. There are a finite # of helmets in the collection. But there seems to be infinite mechs to be produced. Mechs are more like brick headz Mechs doing well for investors but personally I can’t see the appeal at. all. Half the time they make characters de-powered. They look kind of junky. And they do not appear in any Star Wars shows.
@frogartti I agree. But microfighters usually had special minifigs or more collectable ones at least and so far there's only Boba.. Luke, Vader and the Trooper are pretty common.

Btw Shane what were your experiences of selling a series in bulk?

I hope they continue the helmet serie!
Darth maul and kylo ren and C3P0 would rejuvenate the 'helmet' line.
Grievous
I think the actual helmets would be better They could do a snow trooper helmet, maybe do Lando's Helmet from ROTJ.

I have one Tie Helm left unopened and I think I will be buried with it.
😂
why is there only sound on the left speaker?
love your videos. Greetings from Germany
yeah apologies, we had a tech issue that we didn't notice until it was uploaded
lol this happens to me - I don't know why - but I know he didn't notice it cause he probably didn't wear headphones to edit it :D
What. Platforms do you use to sell stuff other than brick link?

I plan to bring my collection to a Lego convention at the end of the month to hopefully trade up for some LOTR minifigs ❤
Great video as always! Thanks for the helpful content. I always enjoy your videos.
Great video and comments on investing in Lego 👍

I would hold all three for a while longer. They've only just retired and there's room to grow
What about the marvel helmets
Mech sets are gonna be the new helmet sets

that's a big statement :)
Its available in 3 in 1 packs so there will be too much inventory for it to grow
@@Smartguy-22 I think mechs are more like micro fighters and midi scale is more like helmets
