    A tip to add to it. When skinning, stop skinning with the knife a bit before the bones start. Then hold the flesh with one hand and skin in the other and pull them apart. The bones come away with the skin and there is no need to cut the bones out

      Take your chainsaw, gentle run it along the bones, taking care not to step on the fish as you walk inside.

    Good video mate. I liked It. When I fillet them I cut straight down on the fillet between the first and second fins behind the head. (Leave the one fin on). By doing this, there is a little air pocket under the fin you can slip your thumb into at the top of the fillet, and just peel the skin straight off the fillet. No need for knife.. Give it a go.. I find it a bit easier.
    Cheers buddy

    After you've put the slit near the tail use a cloth and peel the fillet away from the skin it'll leave those bones connected to the skin giving you a clean fillet without any bones

  • @weflickfishing
    @weflickfishing  12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    yeah sure does!

  • @thegoldman246
    @thegoldman246 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    the other way to fillet is after u have made the cut down to the tail just start skinning about 20 mm then grab the flesh and slowly pull away from skin if done properly the bones will be left on the carcus.This method takes a lot of practice and u will lose meat but is quicker if u have a lot to clean.

    If you start the fillet just enough to grip it you can pull the flesh from the skin and most times leave the bones on the skin.
