All the hardware stands actually screw into the floor of his drum platform. Every cymbal and drum stand are coated with 24 carat gold, no shit. There's a video avaiilable showing the setup of this amazing kit. I had the unique privilege of watching that; it's amazing, check it out.

Question: When drummers have what appears to be wearing earbuds during a performance are they listening to anything?
In a live setting , they are acting as a monitor so we can hear the rest of the band and the instruments . The amps are often in front of us , without monitors or ear bud monitors , the sound would distort and the timing could
Be off ……..you can also change the mix ..I iike to turn up the bass guitar just a little in my ears so we can keep a tighter pocket …….cheers
