I just came back from my interviews at Exeter College, Oxford for History + English! One of my friends at LMH met you during interviews. I think mine went okay, I had 3 interviews and I felt 2/3 went really well. I guess I'll know soon..thanks so much for being such an inspiration xx

These are can be on diffrent days, you can stay at that uni to get an idea of the place & so you won't have to travel up and down. You're amazing Eve! We all appreciate these vlogs so much. But look after yourself. I'm a 3rd year, and one thing that reaaaally helps me with brain fog is a CBT technique. Its basically a way of clearing your mind by prioritising what you need to do. You write 4 sections, as a cross (so 4 boxes) with the titles: "Urgent and Important", "Urgent but not important", "Important but not urgent", and "Not important and not urgent". And write in any activities, essays etc in the appropriate boxes and stick it up somewhere you can see. Much love xxx

I don’t understand how it works in Oxford🤔 she is doing essays but she doesn’t study for her exams the rest of the time? They don’t have exams in Oxford? Because here in France we do essays etc each week but we also have to study for the final exams in january 🤔
Yes but because in Oxford they finish term on November 30th you have over a month outside of uni to prepare for January exams so you don't need to revise during that time, just consolidate
Massie yes we also have like 3 weeks to revise but even 3 months is not enough lol! When you have like 1000 pages / semestre it’s impossible to revise in 1 month!

You’re in exactly the same position we were all in last year! We were all so convinced being sent home meant we hadn’t got in but almost all of us are here now! Don’t try and read into it because it’s literally a mystical process that no one can truly understand x
Eve could you please do a video on A-level languages AQA? I do French.. and i don't know how to revise properly like for paper 1, as there's only 1 specimen paper online ?!! Could you please explain how you revised specifically for each part like : reading, translation, speaking, listening etc. I would find it extremely useful.. as i'm in year 13 ARGHH .. and exams are soon approaching 😲 !! Anyways, so Happy for You🎇.. you clearly deserve all of this Happiness ans So Much More❤
maruf gazi hi, i’ve just finished A-Levels and did French as well. It’s definitely harder to revise past papers because it’s still a relatively new course but I used the AS and A-level textbooks, as they have many exam questions and articles you can use to practice for the final exams; so they are definitely worth purchasing. I found them extremely useful. They cover the reading, writing and speaking sections. As for the listening section, you can always ask your teacher for the digital listening file/CD to play the audio extracts or you might even cover some of them in lessons. Also, if your School/College uses Kerboodle, which is an online educational platform, that would help as well because they have some really good exam style assessments. Also, if you want to practice the summary questions, I would recommend reading various French articles, relevant to the themes you are studying, on the Internet and practice summarising them in 90 words; as that is the exam requirement. I found this was a really good way to improve my summarisation skills. I would suggest using a similar procedure for translation; the more you practice the skill you develop a knack for it and paper 1 will be more doable. Finally with the speaking, aside from the academic work, the most you can do is speak French as much as possible, perhaps engage with your classmates outside School/College in French and try to practice your grammar as much as you can. However, there aren’t really any other tips I can give you on this as I am a native French speaker so I didn’t have this issue. Hope that helps.

At christmas I used to go to a craft afternoon at kings church carols , crafts and sometimes I would not be confident enoguh to sing the carols
