Ann Arbor is a fabulous area to live in , it consistently ranks near the top for livability , satisfaction for living and just overall comfort. However, it is not cheap by any means ,because of it solid economic environment, if you’re coming from the coast, however it’s probably pretty darn reasonable, there is tons to do. It’s in a beautiful area, geographically, the cultural scene is vast, it’s a very liberal and accepting environment so expect that, some of the surrounding areas like Chelsea,Saline , Manchester, and a few others are charming, and it’s only 45 minutes into wonderful and revitalizing Detroit to get all the big city attractions you would want. Most people I know who moved there are very happy there, great restaurants, and really good independent bookstores too, which is a big plus and so much fun to see, Consider it,
