    Hey Phil and Jennifer. I bought the same canopy in May of this year. I got the 10x10. It's been a life saver. On a 95 degree day it's probably 10 to 15 degrees cooler under the canopy. I gotta say this makes a world of difference when your working in the heat of the day and using compounds and polishes. Its saved me from baking in the sun as well as keeps the compounds and polishes from baking into the paint before I get a chance to finish using the DA and wiping the compound off. Yer gonna love how much this makes mobile detailing easier on you folks!!
    I'd suggest getting the sand bags to hold the legs down. A bit of a breeze caused the canopy to hop up and down. A bit unnerving when you have someone's car under there

    Thanks for posting this video! Stay cool and have a great day! 🇨🇦

    Gidday Miranda I used them over here in Australia they are not Ozark but another brand but all the same I found the trick too using them on windy days is to use sand bags to hold the canopy down because when wind gets under it it tends to pick it up that's when all the strain is on your guy lines and rips your fabric its a little bit of added weight to carry around but i got a lot of use out of mine and in some pretty high winds tie the sand bags to your legs I work for a auto parts store but we also own a couple of camping franchises as well and we sell the sand bags we haven't any in stock at the moment but when some come in i may send some across to you

If you ever make any videos cleaning this canopy send me a link.

      Nope. It at all. I don’t factor weather into my prices like that. In my opinion that wouldn’t be fair. That’s when our method of washing and so on really makes a difference. Most times we don’t even set this up. I would never charge more for setup of a canopy.

      Still great. I don’t use it that heavily but it’s always on my truck just incase I need it.

    Dave what size vehicles can fit underneath a 12x12 ?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Usually we can fit suvs or trucks under 7 feet high. But it’s a little difficult to open doors a with a canopy. But it’s enough just to detail the interior with shade. Not really designed for rain.

      @@MirandaDetailingwhat if I buy two and put them together with the sidewalls?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah that could work. But again if doing interiors the legs can block the doors. Just something to think about.

    where did you order this canopy from. The same exact one

  • @BetterThanNewDetailing
    @BetterThanNewDetailing 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Wind, wind, wind, wind. Just when you think you have it anchored securely there will inevitably be that one gust of wind that will prove you wrong😂! I’ve seen folks washing/detailing their cars under canopy’s and then it blows over onto the car...ouch!

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      YES! thats true, If its windy we will not set it up at all. We rarely use any canopy because some large trucks and SUVs don't fit underneath very well.

    • @BetterThanNewDetailing
      @BetterThanNewDetailing 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MirandaDetailing oh I know you’re smart enough to keep it out of the wind. It’s those pop up wind and rain storms that get you.

      Good thing the wind down here is mild. I’ve had it almost catch some wind maybe 2 times. But I bungee it down to the 5 gallon buckets and never had a problem. But if one is in a windy prone area I understand.

    Imagine this. I've just unpacked this and am looking up a video to set it up after trying to decipher the miniscule directions attached to the carrying bag. Take a guess as to how I might be feeling about you seeing up a tripod 12 feet away so you can set this up from afar. From this perspective, I can see what the whole thing looks like when someone else sets it up. Do you really think that's what I clicked on this video to see? I cannot see wtf you are doing! Therefore I cannot envision what I'm supposed to be doing. If you don't have someone else to hold a camera to film you doing this from your perspective, then you should shoot with a GoPro. Otherwise, people like me already frustrated, are even more pissed off by this video.

      Why did you have to go so negative and nasty. In today’s ridiculous unstable society you had ta write this? It’s unreasonable and uncalled for. READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY! It’s just a pop up canopy it’s very simple to setup.🙄 This is not a tutorial video on any way, shape, or form, this channel is geared towards mobile Detailers. So this is a video on what we use for summer detailing, not “how to set it up”. Don’t ever overreact and leave such a nasty comment on a video that was never intended for what YOU think it was. It obviously was not for you so politely move on, OR better yet ask some questions. I always like to answer questions on tools and products I use.
