    Hi Phil, I bought one exactly like this from Denmark a few months ago and now it came in amazingly handy while we have this heatwave in Finland. I can wash without worrying that solutions are drying out and I don’t feel as stressed while washing or applying sealants that are sun sensitive! Best investment I made.

    Again, timing of your videos are funny...I just did two cars over the weekend at 33c or 91f in the direct sun. The amount of sweat that was pouring onto the seats was scary. Ordered a canopy off amazon as soon as I recuperated from all that sun.

  • @Invincibility550

    Really helpful info about the canopy. It's tough to get real-world testimonials from detailers. I've been in the market for either two 10x10s or a 10x20 like what you're reviewing. Could you let us know how the canopy's holding up 18-or-so months later?
    Keep coming with the great videos. There are a ton of product reviews and discussions on TH-cam but I really appreciate you talking about these tools and techniques while you're actually applying them to a client's car-not some body shop hood on a stand like a lot of the other detail channels.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Thanks! Yeah I still have it and use only when absolutely needed. The 10X20 is awesome. I Love the fact that it doesnt have a center bar, its open inside and I can pull large trucks or suvs inside it and not worry about a center bar hitting the tops.

    I think I'm the only detailer I've seen with an awning like rvs have. I have a transit connect xl and I mounted a roll of fabric on the top of the van. I have 2 gallon buckets with concrete that my poles slide into. I pull beside the vehicle when I can and grab the fabric bar and pull out the awning. It has a place for the poles and works great.

    Great job again Mr. Phil. Glad to see you obtained a nice addition (notably that new AR Pro Pressure Washer you got I saw on Chicago Auto Pro's video when they showed your trailer the other day. Fantastic. I know Rick up at RAD GARAGE in Canada obtained one of those. A USA pressure washer to compete with the big boys like Kranzle! Yes sir, I might look into getting one of those someday. I wish they made a high end trolley version like the Kranzle 1122. Maybe they have something in the works for the future. I know they have those lower end trolley models people really like, but I would like to see AR Pro make their version of the higher end Kranzle 1122 (or even better!!) That would be a model that would propel them up a notch I think if they ever did that. I'm waiting.......and wishing.......and hoping........ Hope you enjoy the new canopy. I'm sure it will help you and your wife tremendously, both staying out of the sun, and making detailing jobs that much easier! You two deserve it. You've really built up a little mini detailer empire there. Good for you........you two deserve the best. What a great business that you get to work with your wife everyday. Wish I could do that with my wife and I. We are both retired and it would be great to be able to work together everyday and make a living doing it. We actually get along great and are best friends. Been together for 35+ years! I got married when I was 20 and still going strong with the same woman! Not a lot of people can say that these days. Keep on going Phil. You'll be at 50,000+ subscribers in no time and from there.......well.......who knows how far it can go. Love your channel and your content and the way you present your reviews and videos. Your an honest detailer and honest reviewer and that goes very far.............

    Watching a video on shade as I’m staring at a Mustang that needs a full detail while it’s 39c(102f) out and I have no shade anywhere. Then a TH-cam add comes on about ice cream. You’re killing me Phil. My ac in my house packed it in yesterday and now even my usually comfortable air conditioned garage is cooking.

      Hi! Thanks. So the last year and a half we half been focusing on exterior paint enhancements an ceramic coatings. We have increased our products by at least 30% by doing that. I do very little interior now. Polishing and coatings make us more money in less time.

      I have basically refused interior details before by charging what I consider an appropriate amount. Even a new’ish automobile can be a disaster inside.
      I don’t think owners realize how challenging it can be to properly and thoroughly clean a car interior.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. So I found out that the aerosol Stoners trim shine is water based. It wipes off paint and glass with no problems. Of course if for whatever reason it smears, a little detail spray removes with ease. 😎👍🏼

    Why do you do the washing first and then do the interior?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s just our procedure. For us it’s easier that to deal with flushing out the door jambs because it sometimes gets a little water in the vehicle. But nothing drastic. Also when we polish or apply wax we like to make sure all the crevices are dried, so it gives time for that as we tackle the interior after then when we polish or wax we don’t get drips. Everyone has their procedures that work for them. 😎👍🏼

    26:43 Santa Fe? You just said it was a Tucson earlier on in the video, Haha! It even says "Tucson" everywhere on the vehicle, in case you mistake it for a Santa Fe. At least you didn't say a Honda CRV Santa-Fe edition... I think the summer heat/sun is getting to you bud. Haha! It's OK, I called my Audi a Porsche Cayman while I was talking to my neighbor when I was washing my car in that same heat. Your mistake is understandable. My mistake was missing a few chromosomes...
    In all seriousness, I love the montage at the beginning of the video, a nice throw back to your earlier videos from days yonder! Man that interior was absolutely nasty. Blech! But that interior cleaner looks pretty spot on! I just bought the Turtle Wax cleaner and conditioner for the interior, and figured I try them out while I wait for your video. :) Sorry, just a friendly jab in all sincerity.
    Definitely great idea to use a canopy, especially in this crazy heat we have in the July months around here. Personally, I'd go with a canopy that has a vented roof. Something like this: www.coleman.com/canopies/canopies-shelters/13-x-13-canopy-sun-shelter-khaki/SAP_2000035727.html I've had an instance where a gust of wind caused the canopy to parachute and lift off. Only problem is finding one large enough to fit an SUV into it.
