Money rituals are tricky, which is why people seem to think they don't work. They do, but not the way people want them to. The orishas are at times testing us, especially with our humility and gratitude. They will do little openings for you such as for example, you ask to get a job that pays over $20,000 a year and later that day you find a $20 dollars on the floor. You pick it up. I would normally go, "Thank you, Eleggua! I will use this to buy what I need and get you a cigar or rum." They give you a little bit to see how you would respond. Even if it isn't the full amount you ask for, but you take it with good grace rather than a curse. The following day you find $10. The day later you find $5 and use it to buy a ticket to scratch and win $50. Little gifts of money here and there to encourage you to keep living. That is how the orishas are. That is good. The problem is when people want too much, while not appreciating the little money the orishas give them. How can you accept large amounts of money when you can't even be happy when you find $20 on the floor? $20 on the floor is still good.

We have Nollywood(Yoruba) to blame when it comes to money ritual. They made us believe that it was real. This is problem with the movie, we know it is not real but believe it nonetheless.

This is a very educative video I’m glad y’all did this. But the headline is a bit untrue. Of course, money ritual is real just that ifa doesn’t support such. Maybe we can put it this way; ifa is more holy, pure, like the like of the Christian religion. But the evil demons who doesn’t support ifa are the providers fast live materials in return for something essential to someone.

Small but very important correction for Legit TV - please get translations right or don't translate if not required. "Babalawo" is not "Herbalist". Herbalists can be likened to "Onise'gun".
Would I be correct if I say this man's rhetoric on Ifa is replete with a lot of sophistries?
1. He said Ifa has answers to everything. Yet, I was a bit gobsmacked when he said he once dabbled into Christianity and Islam out of curiosity. Could Ifa not have satisfied such curiosity in the first place? He could have simply asked Ifa about those religions. Then he should tell us what Ifa said. For instance, he could ask Ifa about Jesus Christ. Let Ifa tell him who Jesus Christ is since Ifa is omniscient and prescient! Perhaps, I would appeal to Legit TV to conduct an experiment. Kindly visit four Ifa priests and let them divine for us who Jesus Christ is or Mohammed and let's hear what each would say: whether they would say the same thing or something different.
2. This man said "football" is "eré idaraya"... Like seriously?! Is that what Ifa really said football is? A competitive sport that has caused both evil and good: that has made people commit heinous and crazy acts: that has made people smile and also cry? Is that what he is simply saying Ifa calls "eré idaraya"? That must be an exaggeration.
3. What does Ifa say about "nano technology", "machine Learning", the present and future of "A.I"? And since Ifa has problem to all problems why has no Ifa priests divined to us the mystery behind the terrorist attacks in Nigeria and the solution to the problem? SMH
4. The idea that the cosmic world operates in numbers is not only unique to Ifa divination. This knowledge is ubiquitous- I am saying this with reference to another video you did in which you interviewed one ogboni Apeno. There is numerology; even Mathematics itself has been said to be the language of the universe. So that system of numbers is not the monopoly of the Nigerian Ifa divination system. The Hebrews, for instance, divine through numbers and when you go back in the Old testament they had the "Urim" and "Thurim" which were synonymous to the Ifa divination board or tool. In fact, it was like a communication technology with which the Jewish priest communicated directly with God. Moreover, the Ifa divination relic is just one of the cosmic archetypes...so are the gods! Today, Google is imitating Ifa... perhaps, if they are looking for a way to digitalize Ifa, they should collaborate with Google app developers or those who design apps for horoscopes and palmistry...Let me stop there.
5. He said that there is nothing like money ritual: well, literally, there is nothing like that. This has been established by many priests too in the sense that there is no magic that will cause money to appear in some sorts of cupboard or Calabash just as "Yoruba Nolly" has made us believe. However, it may not be so for other culture. But here is where I am going: he said there can be soaps given to someone which will enhance the person's aura or energy to be in tune with the positive energies or vibration of the universe. The question is what ingredients were used in making the soaps? Would he deny that human parts could not have been used?! Would he say that it's impossible? Coz when it comes to things like this, everyone would want to sound "PURE"- it is already a known fact that for every surface structure, there is always a deep structure. The length of the depth, we might not know. It's just like a Freemason: a Freemason would never know that the architect of the universe who is acclaimed to be the god of all Freemasons is actually the Lucifer. However, the freemason would never know this until he gets to the 33rd degree. But from his 1st degree to 32degree, he would be made to believe that Freemasonry is "pure".
