In the ingredients list the Yoghurt is in grams, but tomato puree and fromage frais are in tablespoon measures. It would be helpful if all measurements included weight in grams. Easier to get accurate measure.
Hi Angela, I think we showed it that way because when you buy the products they are in weight measures e.g 500g pots or 250g tubes etc - but when you're cooking in the kitchen it's easier to use a tablespoon to measure than trying to weigh out runny things like fromage frais and messing up another bowl. Just thinking of saving on washing up! If the products contained Syns we would have them weighed and measured to protect weight loss of course
I had a bit of a disaster the other night when I added fat free Greek Yogurt directly to my curry sauce when cooking and it curdled. Ended up using some Elmlea to rescue it. 😢.
Oh no! Low fat products can split when if added when sauces are hot or still cooking. It shouldn't affect the flavour, but the appearance is not too attractive as it ends up looking grainy or bitty. If you take the sauce off the heat and let it cool a little and take the yogurt out of the fridge about 30 mins before it's needed so it's not so cold it should stop it happening again. Thanks, Gemma Slimming World
@@slimmingworld So I found out 😲😁! Thank you for the advice, that is very useful. I will make note of it for future reference. Can I just say, as a new member, Slimming World has been one of the best things I have done in a long time. Despite trying to eat healthily I just couldn’t lose weight. However, since joining SW, I have already lost a stone in just a few weeks and now see no reason I can’t achieve my target weight by the end of the year, so thank you Slimming World.
Prob with using fromaige frais or yoghurt is if u freeze it and then reheat be thatt in a low oven or microwave....then the sauce tends to split and taste sour. Happened2 me with last batch of tikka masala I did and I ended having to throw out several portions. V annoying
Great tip with the ginger. Great recipe too
Lovely recipes my mouth is watering x
Iceland sell pouches of frozen chopped garlic, ginger, chilli, onion etc which is even easier than freezing it yourself 👍🏻
Great tip!
Looks good x
Will be making this tonight.
Thanks
Just made this, with turkey instead of chicken. Quite spicy, but very nice indeed. Will definitely make it again.
Great 👍

Looks yummy will be making that tomorrow.
How did it turn out? Love Slimming World xxx
Not watched all way through yet, so hopefully I can make this to my taste buds, as it is normally too creamy for me! X
