A visit to the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary, Trinidad State Park, Colorado

  • Some raw footage I edited together from my trip to see the K-Pg boundary in Colorado in summer 2019. The boundary itself is a few miles into the backcountry along a trail inside Trinidad State Park, CO. I'm making a more produced video about the K-Pg impact but for now this at least shows you the physical location and what the layer looks like up close.

    Thank you so much for the very informative video! I am hoping to venture down from Denver soon to see this, it's so incredibly fascinating to me to visualize the direct fallout from such a catastrophic mass extinction
